CMA FEST | Part 1

Hey Friends! I am finally getting around to recapping my girls trip to CMA FEST! We took so many pictures that I am going to break it up into 2 parts.

Part One will be Days 1& 2, Then Part Two will be Days 3 & 4. So grab a cup of coffee or wine and enjoy!

On the evening of June 5th, Leigh Anne and I drove to Chattanooga, TN. Which is about the half way point between home and Nashville.

Once we arrived at our hotel, we dropped off our luggage,  and headed to the hotel bar.

It felt so good just to unwind and chit chat without a kid interrupting us!

Wine to go back to the room! (that I didn't finish)

DAY ONE: June 6th, 2019

Thursday morning we were up early to head to Nashville. We dropped off the car and picked up our CMA Fest passes and headed to Broadway. We stayed at the Holiday Inn Express Downtown so we were in walking distance.

Then we headed to get in line to get into Riverfront Stage to see Billy Currington at 10AM. We got front row.

After Billy, we listened to Lee Brice. Then we got a bite to eat and a drink! Afterwards, we listened to Michael Ray and a few other artist.

Around 3, we decided to start making our way back to the hotel to bring our luggage up to the room but not before we stopped by Luke Bryan's 32 Bridge Restaurant.

After getting our luggage and regrouping (aka- a NAP) we got ready to head back downtown in the RAIN.

We stopped into FGL House before crossing the pedestrian bridge to Nissan Stadium.

The rained stopped so we checked out the rooftop bar.

We made it to the stadium just in time for the rain to start back up again.

Thursday, June 6th the line up was...

Kane Brown
Kelsea Ballerini
Brothers Osborne
Rascal Flatts
Florida Georgia Line

This is what I think of Rascal Flatts. Y'all they put me to SLEEP! Leigh Anne thought it was funny that I was falling asleep most nights. I can't hang past midnight anymore! 🤣🤣

DAY TWO: Friday, June 7th, 2019

We were up and ready for the day by 10am. Remember we didn't get back to our hotel until after 1am.

We started with mimosas in our cute cups.

Then we had to be in line by 11:30 for a Meet & Greet with Hardy.

I didn't know who Hardy was until Leigh Anne quickly informed me. He sings Rednecker than You. But he is better known as a song writer. He writes a lot for FGL and Jake Owen but his most recent and #1 song is God's Country sung by Blake Shelton.

After the Meet & Greet, we headed back to Luke's Bar.

We shared kettle chip nachos and oh my goodness they were so good!

After Luke's we headed to the Chevy Breakout Stage to listen to Muscadine Bloodline. I first head them when they opened for Kip Moore back in April and now we can't get enough of them.

I FaceTimed Ella when they started singing Porch Swing Angel and look what shirt she was wearing...

My new FAVORITE band.

We found the Budweiser Stage to see Deacon, I mean Charles Esten. 😉😉

His show got cut early due to lightening in the area so we headed back to the hotel to regroup before heading to Nissan Stadium.

June 7th, 2019: the line-up was...

Little Big Town
Dan + Shay
Thomas Rhett
Eric Church
Carrie Underwood

Carrie ended Day 2 with a BANG. If only I had her legs.....

I will be back Thursday with Days 3 & 4!

If you have any questions about CMA FEST and our trip, I will be happy to answer if I know the answer.
