Hello Monday | Life Lately Edition

Hello Monday, Hello Weekend before Spring Break! I hope you had a great weekend! I also hope you will grab our graphic and join us!

Last Tuesday, Ian started playing in a middle school golf league. Y'all we about FROZE TO DEATH. We left our house and it was a perfect temp and sunny. We arrived at the golf course about 20 minutes from our house and it turned so COLD and WINDY!
Ian did great and had fun despite the cold.

When you use your pug as a pillow. The two girls did not want to get out of bed Wednesday morning.

Wednesday afternoon, Ian had a track meet and Ella had golf lessons. I went with Ian to his track meet while Ben took Ella to her golf lessons. Guess who didn't take any pictures???

Ian ran hurdles and 4x400

Thursday, I weighed in at my WW's meeting. Y'ALL the scale didn't move and I did SO great last week. I was a little frustrated but I have a different plan this week so fingers crossed.

This is how Trixie felt about getting out of bed on Friday morning! She lives such a "ruff" life! HA

Last week at Ella's school, we celebrated Teacher Appreciation week. Each Day parents donated food to feed all the faculty and staff. PTO put it together. We made sure we had enough food each day, made sure everything was refilled, etc. Friday, I volunteered for most of the day so I had a visitor stop by from time to time. :)

Friday night, Ian spent the night with a friend. Ella played "teacher" in her room. While Ben and I along with the pups chilled on the back porch! Ben and I shared a bottle of Pinot Noir.

Saturday morning, I finished Girl, Wash your Face by Rachel Hollis! It's a MUST READ!

This memory popped up on Facebook. Four years ago on Saturday, we lost our first pug, Tazy. He was Ben and I's first baby. We miss him EVERYDAY.

Most of Saturday was spent at this girl's Science Olympiad Competition. She competed in Bridge Building with Brooklyn again this year. Along with "Which Way is North" with another friend.

Prayers before the competition began.

2018 Science Olympiad Team.

and this is how they felt about their school not placing in any events. Last year, they placed #1 in Bridge Building. Our school also went to the state competition. This year... NOTHING. They were all so heartbroken. They worked SO HARD.

Saturday evening, we went to The Smith's to celebrate Stephanie's Birthday! You know you are besties when you show up matching the birthday girl! :) We had such a fun night. We ate, we laughed, we enjoyed adult beverages, we talked, we made memories.

Sunday, we went to church and lunch! Then we came home and Ben and I took a NAP! I'm talking under the covers nap. It was HEAVENLY! It was cold and rainy. Perfect NAPPING weather.
I also did some laundry, meal prepped, and blogged!

What did you do this weekend??
