Our Week with Ian Cutting his Finger, Ella Snake/Non-Snake Bite, and Blackberry Picking.

Hey Y'all! Happy Tuesday! I hope your week is off to a great start! I am recapping June 2nd-June 8th. I know y'all love that title because y'all it was a WEEK! 

Monday, June 2nd- 

Ian to work, Ben to Athens Country Club to play in a USAM Tournament, and Ella woke up still running a fever. Coffee and Jesus for me. I ran to Publix really quick to grab a few things. Then I got home to type out a blog post and then fell down the rabbit hole of researching Ella's Senior Trip. It took several hours. Later Ben got home, ate leftovers, and pretty much crashed. I made CMM Ham and Cheese Sliders for dinner and they were so GOOD! 

I think this picture makes me look so old. 😂 Coffee drinking and bird watching! HA 

My lunch. I have mentioned that I am back on WW. This was my lunch and I hope to share my meals more often in the future. 

I cleaned up, showered, everyone got home, and we crashed. 

Tuesday, June 3rd- 

Ian to work, Ben to the office, Coffee and Jesus for me, and Ella was still running a fever. I did end up walking 2 miles with Keri. Did a clean sweep of the house, laundry, blogged, and cleaned out the fridge. Ian text me asking if I could go buy him butterfly bandaids. I said NO, I'm cleaning house you can stop on your way home we have bandaids here. Well Ian got home and showed me how bad he cut his finger at work and I felt really bad. 

I made BBQ chicken for dinner and we ate when Ben got home. I cleaned up, showered, and chilled. 

I did take pictures for the bar cart. 

Please look how comfortable Duke was at 12:35 in the afternoon....

and this is how Duke put hisself to sleep at 7:30. HA

Trixie and I at 9:40 pm because I could't sleep but she had no problem. 

I did finally crash. 

Wednesday, June 4th- 

Good Gracious what a day!! Ian to work, Ben to the office, Ella slept in and no fever. I went to workout and then walked with Keri. I had hoped to work in the yard but that didn't happen because of the rain. I ran an "I love you" gift to Leigh Anne. Got home, cut out 2 orders, cleaned up the craft room, and then Ella was like my ankle really hurts. 

It looked really bad and swollen so we headed to Urgent care. 

She sent this picture to her brother. 

So the Urgent care Dr said it was a snake bite probably from FFA camp. Ella said she DID NOT remember falling or getting bit by anything.  the Urgent care doctor said we needed to go to the ER because she thought she had septics arthritis and they could not treat her. Her and I just giggled because we were like how do you get bite by a snake and not know it. It was either laugh or cry at this point. 

Well we got to the the ER and that doctor said it was not a snake bite but something did get her and it was infected and inflamed so she need antibiotics. They did blood work, an IV and Tylenol via IV. She got oral antibiotics and they sent us home with a prescription to be filled Thursday morning.  

She was all smiles. She was a trooper. Both doctors said they think her fever earlier in the week was from the bite. 

We got home, Ben picked up CFA, we ate, showered, and CRASHED. It was the craziest day.

Thursday, June 5th- 

Ian to Work, Ben to the Office, Coffee and Jesus for me, and then I went to Publix to get Ella's prescription filled. I picked us up CFA for breakfast and then got her settled with breakfast and red light therapy. 

At 7:10AM, her ankle was looking so much better. 

The rest of the day, I did things around the house, blog calendar, planner set up, and dinner. 

We ate dinner. Pasta with Hot sausage. A Recipe from The Food Nanny.  Ian and Kathryn went to church. I curled up on the couch and watched Ginny & Georgia. 

Once everyone was home, I crashed. 

Friday, June 6th- 

Ian to work, Ben to the office, Coffee and Jesus for me, Ella and her friends got ready and headed to the pool. I went to walk with Keri, watched more Ginny & Georgia, got ready and headed to Striplings to get stuff to grill steaks and shrimp for dinner. Got home, put everything up, and you guessed it watched more Ginny & Georgia. 

I got everything ready to cook and headed to the back deck with a glass of wine. 

Ben grilled, we ate, and the kids went back and forth between our house and the neighbors. Joey and Keri walked over and we all chilled on the back deck talking and enjoying a few drinks. 
Once they left, I cleaned up the kitchen, started the dishwasher, showered, and watched a little more Ginny & Georgia before crashing. 

Saturday, June 7th- 

Ian went to work. He is working overtime right now for a big project. Ben got ready and headed to play golf with his brother. Ella and I got ready and headed to breakfast with Keri, Sarah, and Ashlynn. 

Cheers to Saturday....

Then we walked around the Farmers Market and went to Pharr's Farm to pick blackberries and Zinnias. 

We had such a fun morning! We got home, I ran to Publix, and Ella started cleaning out her closet. Once I was home and settled, I researched more for Ella's trip, and blogged. Ella went to Monroe with LB and we ordered El Real for a late lunch/early dinner. We ate, I did a clean sweep, I started meal planning with points, showered, and finished Ginny & Georgia. 

By Saturday afternoon, this was Ella's foot. Swollen again. We elevated it above her heart and iced it. 

I washed all the blackberries we picked. They were so GOOD! 

We all just kinda of chilled for the rest of the evening. 

Sunday, June 8th- 

Ian to work, Ben to the golf course, Ella slept in, and I watched church online. After church, I got busy cleaning house, doing laundry, Ella stayed off her foot most of the day and it was looking so much better. I ran to grab my Target pick up order and Jersey Mike's for lunch. I got home, put that stuff away, and crawled into bed with Ella and her and I watched Forever My Girl. After the movie, I gathered trash, took the trash to the street, Ian and Kathryn ran to her house, they got home, ate dinner, and then we all went to our "separate"corners of the house for the night. HA 

I crashed around 11pm.
