Our Week with Freshman Orientation and the Lake.

Hey Y'all! Happy Tuesday! I hope your week is off to a great start. I am back with another recap. Today, I am recapping May 25th- May 31st. 

Monday, May 25th-

Happy Memorial Day. Ben went to play golf. I wanted to go to the pool but in the morning it rained, so I went to lunch at Legend's and made mexican for dinner. We just chilled the rest of the day. 

Tuesday, May 26th- 

Ian to work, Ben to the office, and coffee and Jesus for me. I went to workout at Burn at 8:30. I went to the bank and Goodwill. I honestly don't remember the rest of the day or who did what. I didn't write anything down in my planner nor do I have any pictures on my phone. 😜

Wednesday, May 27th- 

Ian to work, Ben to the office, and coffee and Jesus for me. I went to workout at Burn at 8:30 and once again, I wrote down NOTHING down in my planner so I can't remember what we all did over a month ago. 

Thursday, May 28th- 

Ian to work, Ben to the office, and coffee and Jesus for me.  Once again, I wrote down NOTHING down in my planner so I can't remember what we all did over a month ago except that I know that Ben, myself, and Ella headed to Statesboro for the evening for her freshman orientation on Friday. We met one of her roommates and her mom at Del Sur for dinner. Made our way to the hotel and got comfy. None of us really slept well that evening. 

Friday, May 29th- 

Ian to work while the rest of us grabbed breakfast at CFA and headed to SOAR for the day. It was information OVERLOAD! 😆

However we did end SOAR getting to visit a 4 bedroom 2 bath "apartment" style dorm that will be similar to theirs this fall. 

Once we were finished, they dropped me off at the lake with The Boswell's. They headed home. 

Saturday, May 30th- 

The boys went to play golf with Ian's former roommate Jay and his dad at Eastlake. I was at the lake and realized that Ella had left her keys and licenses in my purse. Ella, Grammy, and Trixie ended up coming to the lake to pick up her keys and wallet. 

This was my view by 1:45pm

Ella, Ian, and Kathryn ended up going to the free Corey Smith concert in Winder. They ran into Mrs. Hawk. Ian and Kathryn's 5th grade teacher! She text me this picture. 

It poured down rain. 

Sunday, May 31st- 

I woke up again at the lake, boys went to play golf, and Ella went to Kiley's graduation party. LA dropped me off at home that afternoon. I unpacked, ran to Publix for Ian's lunch stuff, and did all my Sunday evening chores. 

Ben got a text at 9pm asking if he could be at Pinehurst to play golf for the next 3 days so he needed clothes washed. He headed to bed and I stayed up to wash and dry his clothes because he was leaving so early the next morning.
