Monday, July 27th-
Ian to work, Ben to the office, and coffee and Jesus for me. I got myself together and ran a few errands. I got home and chilled for a little bit. I asked ChatGPT to give me ideas to redo the "book bag" area since we no longer need a book bag area.
I shared this picture with ChatGPT... This space needs a glow up so bad.
This is what ChatGPT produced. I LOVE it. This is going to be my project when we get Ella all moved into college.
I got some blog post typed out and then Ella decided to put together her hutch for her desk. I didn't have much confidence in her and told her that she should wait for her dad. But she proved me wrong and got it all put together.
Later that evening, I cooked dinner, cleaned up, showered, and chilled before we all crashed. Ella did go spend the night with Addison.
Tuesday, July 28th-
Ian to work, Ben to the office, and coffee and Jesus for me. I got myself together and met Colleen at her bus lot to park her car and drive her to another lot to pick up her bus for the year.
Afterwards, I picked up CFA for breakfast and met Ella at Hobby Lobby to do some more dorm shopping. We ended up going to Home Goods, TJ Maxx, and Target. We ate lunch and then she went to get gas and I ran to Publix.
We both got home, got her dorm stuff put away, I blogged, and she chilled. Later that day, Kathryn and her nephew, Mason, joined us for tacos for dinner. I cleaned up, showered, and curled up on the couch with Trixie. Ella joined us for a little bit. I can't believe she will be gone in 2 weeks. (Well when y'all are reading this, it will be a week)
Wednesday, July 29th-
Ian to work, Ben to the office, and coffee and Jesus for me. We enjoyed a slow morning before getting ready and meeting my mom, my sister, Amber, and Daniel at Longhorn's for lunch. They wanted to see Ella again before she leaves for college and my sister goes back to work on Monday. (yesterday) After lunch, we went to the pool for a little bit. It was an interesting pool day. We all got into our swimsuits and Amber got Daniel all covered in sunscreen. We got out to the pool area and Daniel was ready to swim. It was a crazy day that ended with Grandma Deb getting stung by a bee. Ella and I headed home and of course, I had to run into Publix. We got home, showered, and I made sausage balls. I started the spaghetti for dinner and chilled for a bit. Ian got home, showered, packed his lunch, and headed to Kathryn's for the evening. Ben got home and we ate dinner. I cleaned up, got ready for bed, and curled up on the couch again to try and wait for Ella to get home from meeting friends at DQ again. Again, I didn't make it. She let us know when she got home.
Thursday, July 30th-
Ian to work from Kathryn's house, Ben to the office, and coffee and Jesus for me. I enjoyed a slow morning. Ella slept in and then we worked on some college stuff. Ella went to help a teacher for a few hours. I ran to Publix before working on a blog post. Then Ella went to Athens with Addison. I continued to work on blog stuff and an invitation for a last minute college send off party.
I made chicken, green beans, and dirty rice for dinner, got the kitchen cleaned up, showered and chilled on the couch for a little bit.
Friday, July 31st-
Ian to work, Ben to the office, and coffee and Jesus for me. I went to workout at Burn and CFA with LA. On my way home, I ran into Kroger and got gas. I got home, showered, and started doing a few things around the house. Ella and Kathryn ended up going out for lunch and shopping. We chilled most of the day and then Ella went to the movies that evening. I started watching I Will Find You. I knew Ben would like the show so I waited on him to watch it. We watched a few episodes, crawled into bed, and waited for Ella to get home. We all crashed.
Saturday, August 1st-
Ian went to work and Ben went to play golf with his brother. The boys got home and we were all LAZY! It was great. Me, Ben, and Ian got ready and headed down to The Battery to go to Burn and listen to The Braves game. We ate, had a few drinks, and they enjoyed a couple of cigars. We got home about 9:45. Ella had gone to Addison's house for a farewell bonfire.
Sunday, August 2nd-
The boys and I slept in. I finally got up and enjoyed my coffee and quiet time. The guys slept in later and I watched church online. Ella got home and we started cleaning out her closet and drawers. It took us a couple of hours but we got rid of 4 black trash bags of clothes, 2 bags of trash, and a trash bag of student section theme night gear to our neighbor that just started high school. It felt good to get all that done. Then I will deep clean her room when she goes off to college. Ella cleaned the rest of her room and bathroom. I did a clean sweep of the rest of the house. Ben grilled lemon pepper chicken for dinner and I made mac and cheese, and green beans for dinner. I got the kitchen cleaned up, showered, and on the couch around 6pm. Ben and I watched more I Will Find You, Ian went to bed, and Ella went to meet friends at DQ again. When we finished the show, Ben went to bed and I waited up for Ella. I actually stayed awake this time! HA But once she got home, I crashed.
