Our Week with Labor Day, Yellow Daisy Festival, and The Georgia Southern game at Clemson.

Hey Y'all! Happy Wednesday! I hope your week is off to a great start. I am recapping September 7th-13th. 

Monday, September 7th- 

Labor Day! We packed up and headed home from the lake. We stopped at Striplings on our way home for a biscuit. We got home, unpacked, got ready, and headed to Legend's for my guys to play golf. Afterwards we went to Outback for dinner, got home, showered, and chilled for the rest of the evening. 

Tuesday, September  8th- 

Ian to work, Ben to the office, and coffee and Jesus for me. I went to workout at Burn at 8:30. Ran by Publix on my way home and then did all the things....laundry, washed our sheets, and cleaned out the fridge. I got ready and headed to lunch with LA before my 1pm dentist appointment. I got home worked on a letter to send to Ella's for her initiation week and an Etsy order.  

I made potato soup for dinner. It was so good. I will share my recipe again soon. 

I sent this picture to my family....Little cat came to visit. 

I cleaned up the kitchen, showered, and curled up on the couch before crashing. 

Wednesday, September 9th- 

Ian to work, Ben to the office, and coffee and Jesus for me. I got busy cleaning house and finishing laundry.  Ella was up early for bible study and sent us this picture of her drive back to the dorm. 

I got Glenda ready for Halloween. 

and my wreath ready for Georgia Southern football. 

After work, Ben went Legend's and Ian went to dinner with a friend. He brought me home chicken salad chick. So GOOD! 

I was finishing making Trixie's dog food, looked into the living, and this was my view. 

I just love her. 

Thursday, September 10th- 

Ian to work, Ben to the office, and coffee and Jesus for me. I threw on some clothes and headed to run a few errands which included a trip to Costco. On my way, I saw one of Ben's trucks headed to make a copier delivery. 

I got home from Costco and worked on some more Etsy orders. 

Trixie and I took a break from chores and this was her....

HA. 

I got ready and Ben and I went to dinner at The Bistro with Keith, Dixie, and Turtle. It was so good. We got home and crashed. 

Friday, September 11th- We will NEVER forget. 

Ian to work, Ben to the office, and coffee and Jesus for me. I got ready, LA brought us CFA for breakfast, and then her and I headed to Stone Mountain for the 58th annual Yellow Daisy Festival. We had a blast but man was it HOT! 

We went to El Torero for lunch! Our FAVORITE mexican restaurant. 

We got home and I ran to Kroger to get dinner supplies because this girl wanted pork chops and dirty rice for dinner. 

Look who came home for the weekend. 

We ate, I cleaned up, and everyone just chilled for the rest of the evening before crashing. 

Saturday, September 12th- 

Coffee and Jesus for me while Ben and Ella went to Waffle House for breakfast. We got ready and headed to Clemson to tailgate for the Georgia Southern game. We got to Clemson and picked up Zaxby's to tailgate. We ate and were hanging out but the RAIN decided to make an appearance. This was us watching the UGA game...

The rain stopped and we walked to Study Hall to see Ella and her "big" Tori. On the way back, we stopped back by the car before heading into the stadium. We got food and drinks, ate, and then by 6pm this was us...

It started raining so I went under cover and by the time I waited in line to potty and came back out, it was a lightening delay and everyone had to leave their seats. It was so packed that I couldn't get to Ben, Ella, and Chris. 

This is what it looked like for about an hour. Y'all it was AWFUL. I was miserable. I don't even like or understand football. I just like the tailgate, party, and vibe. So I was OVER it at this point. 

I was able to finally move enough to get dipping dots. 😂

We finally made it back to our seats and kick off was moved to 9:30 instead of 7:30. Right after kickoff, I needed to go to the restroom again, so I did that and when I came back out....Y'ALL it was RAINING again. I found a place to sit and never went back to the seats. I watched the game on the jumbo tron. We left at halftime and got home around 1AM. 

Sunday, September 13th- 

Ben was up around 6:45 to go fill up Ella's car and to grab her breakfast from McDonald's. I ran to Publix to get a few things that she needed to take back to college with her. I enjoyed my coffee and quiet time while Ella worked on ZTA stuff and Ben watched golf. Ella headed back to college around 9am. 

I got busy cleaning out the fridge, the fish tank, laundry, and my guys helped me bring in all the Fall and Halloween bins. 

Ian went to play golf while Chris brought us Chipotle for lunch. Ben and Chris watched The Falcons game while I worked in the craft room. I got it cleaned up and my planner set up for the week. It was a productive Sunday. 

I eventually curled up on the couch with Trixie before crashing.
