Monthly Goals | September 2020

It's a NEW Month so that means NEW Goals!!

Let's Start with S E P T E M B E R Goals.

Personal:

1. Lose 5 pounds. I lost 4.2 in August and I hope to lose more this month.

2. Have the inside of our house painted. I was hoping to get this done in August and I knew it was a long shot but here's to hoping it gets done in September.

3. Decorate for Fall. Oh how I can't wait to bring out all the PUMPKINS!

4. Have lunch with Talia to celebrate her BIRTHDAY! We love having lunch together but to have a reason to celebrate is just icing on the cake.

5. Stay on Track with my Bible App and 100 Days to Brave. During July I got about a week behind on my bible reading and it took me most of August to get caught up so I really try to stay on track.

6. Enjoy all the Pumpkin Spice. I do not like PSL from Starbucks but I do love pumpkin spice coffee, creamers, breads, etc.

7. Delete Photos and Videos from my phone. My phone has over 4,000 pictures on it. Y'all that is crazy! I really need to delete and organize them.

8. Complete 5-6 items on Home Improvement List. I have several things that I can work on when the kids are at school for 2 days a week that shouldn't take to long.

9. Plan or Host a Wine Tasting Night. Y'all Ben and I loved going to wine tastings at our local liquor store and then 'Rona hit and they had to stop them. I found the CUTEST Wine Tasting Kit in the Target HotSpot and it would be such a fun night.

Family:

1. Start back to School on a Hybrid Schedule. My kids will go to school on Monday and Tuesday then digital learn Wednesday-Friday.

2. Host the Bulldawg Bash. EEK We can't wait to have friends and family over to watch FOOTBALL.

3. Have Dinner with Friends. We have a Fiesta planned for this month and I can't wait to hang out with them and catch up!

4. Celebrate 17 Years of Marriage. WOW I can't believe Ben and I will be married for 17 years this month. Time sure does fly when you are having fun.

5. Finalize Ella's 13th Birthday Celebration. We have the date and place nailed down now onto the FUN stuff....food and decorations.

6. Celebrate Trixie's 4th Birthday. Not sure how we will celebrate just yet but we will make her feel super special!

7. Try One New Recipe Every Week. Y'all I am so tired of cooking the same ole' thing and when I ask my family what they want for dinner they say they don't care. Well this mama is going to try something each week and no one can complain it.

My Glittery Heart:

1. Be Consistent on Social Media. I am trying to grow my followers organically but y'all it's hard. Sometimes I feel like it's a full time job! I have been taking the time to plan out post even if it's just a week at a time.

2. Share the Football Bar Cart. I took the pictures last week and I can't wait to show y'all in a few weeks. It so dang CUTE!

3. Share National Cinnamon Raisin Bread Day. Ella has really been enjoying being in the kitchen with me and sometimes even by herself. We found a new Cinnamon Raisin Bread recipe and we can't wait to try it.

4. Share Fall Home Tour. I plan to start getting out all the Fall bins next week.

5. Get a New Light for Craft Room. I think to put the finishing touch to my work space would be a darling new light.

Oh My Glitter:

1. Gain Followers on my NEW Oh My Glitter Instagram. I originally didn't want to have multiple IG accounts but after really thinking about it and going back and forth I thought it was best to separate all of my passions.

2. Work on Wooden signs. I have really missed cutting, anding, and painting wood. I hope to get back to it this month.

SeneGence:

1. Continue sharing looks on my NEW Glitter and Glam by Heather account.  I am excited to share all my different looks and products. Plus I love the practice that it gives me.

2. Host a Gift with Purchase. I purchased a few goodies to give away when my customers make a purchase. I just love the added personal touch.

What do you hope to accomplish this month??

Now let me quickly recap AUGUST...

Personal:

✔1. Catch up on Bible Reading. I got about a week behind on the bible app so I hope to get caught back up this month.

✔2. Get Back on Track with my Cleaning Cards. July was a CRAZY month and it took everything I had just to keep up with the basis cleaning much less do any deep cleaning.

3. Track in my  WW app. I know I said in my yearly goals that I wanted to find a FREE way to track my food and fitness but y'all I need the accountability right now.

4. Lose 5 lbs. Now that I am back on WW and working out with my trainer. I hope to lose 5 lbs or 5 inches this month.

5.  Have the inside of our house painted. I know this is a big one but I am really hoping I can get this checked off my Master to do list this month. or at the least get it scheduled.

6. Start 100 Days to Brave by Annie F. Downs. I have read this book I believe 2 times and this go round I am using the Guided Journal companion.

7. Utilize the Dash Board pages in my Planners. I have not been utilizing these pages at ALL. So this month I hope to use one monthly layout as my wellness tracker and the other monthly layout as a blog post/instagram post planner.

8. Have Lunch with a Bestie. Oh how I can't wait to start meeting my besties for lunch again when the kids start back to school.

9. Get my MAC back and working. Y'all I miss my MAC. My old one is just not as fast as my new one. #firstworldproblems

Family:

1. Start Back to School in person. Ella is so excited to start back to school and see her teachers and friends. Ian would be fine staying home and continuing digital learning but he is going back to school.

2. Get into a Routine. We need a routine SO BAD.

3. Have a Pizza and Popcorn Night. I have this planned for the first Friday after starting back to school because I have a feeling we are all going to be exhausted so a movie night at home will be perfect.

My Glittery Heart:

1. Share my Football Bar Cart. I can't wait to decorate the bar cart for football. Football season is going to look different this year but that won't stop us from celebrating.

2. Share My Updated Front Porch. I have been having so much fun decorating my Front Porch that I can't wait to share it with y'all.

3. Share All my Trader Joe's Finds. EEK I plan on making a few trips to TJ's this month and I can't wait to show y'all what I purchase.

4. Pitch to TWO companies. With us getting back into a routine and the blog back to a regular schedule, I hope to pitch to TWO companies this month.

5. Post regularly on Social Media. I am really bad about posting on a regular basis and then just neglecting the platform for awhile. I am hoping if I plan post I will actual post them.

Oh My Glitter:

1. Work on Fall & Christmas Designs. I can't wait to start creating new pieces for my favorite time of the year!

2. Post regularly on Social Media. I am really bad about posting on a regular basis and then just neglecting the platform for awhile. I am hoping if I plan post I will actual post them.

SeneGence:

1. Share different make-up/LipSense looks regularly on Social Media. I know if I am consistent with sharing these amazing products then I will slowly grow my business.

2. Host a Sale. I am working on planning a few different sales for the Fall/Winter and I am really excited about it.

Well I didn't get 6 things marked off the list! But overall, I am pretty happy. I did lose 4.2 pounds and I got all the football bar cart photographed!

Here are some pictures for fun...
