Our Week with Game Night, Tour and Tailgate at GA Southern, and A Thanksgiving Celebration.

Hey Y'all! Happy Monday! If you are the praying type, please say a prayer for my Ella. She is having her wisdom teeth removed this morning. 

Monday, November 17th- 

Ian to work, Ben to the office, Ella woke up not feeling great so she slept in, and Coffee and Jesus for me. I went to meet my sister and then I went to Legend's for an omelette. I did put dog food in the crockpot to cook before I left. On my way home, I stopped by Publix. Got home and put salsa chicken in the other crockpot to cook for dinner. I did manage to wash sheets, towels, type out a blog post, and read. Everyone got home, we ate, Ella went to Young Life, I cleaned up, showered, and curled up on the couch to wait up for Ella. 

Tuesday, November 18th- 

Ian to work, Ben to the office, Coffee and Jesus for me, and Ella to school. I went to workout at Burn at 8:30. Stopped by Publix to grab the ingredients to make tacos for dinner. In case you haven't noticed, I stop by Publix most days. I got home and made the mistake of sitting down to read "one chapter." Well that lead to me finishing my book. I have finished 55 books so far this year. 

I wouldn't allow myself to start another book. I managed to get some blog work done. Everyone started getting home, I cooked tacos for dinner, cleaned up, showered, and we watched DWTS. 

Afterwards, we crashed. 

Wednesday, November 19th- 

Ian to work, Ben to the office, Coffee and Jesus for me, and Ella off to school. I woke up all stopped up so I chilled for a while and realized that I forgot Trixie's 8am grooming appointment. I remembered around 8:30 and text the groomer. Thankfully, I was able to drop her off at 9:30 and was picking her up all clean at 11am.

Ella came home after teaching still not feeling well so she laid down, I read so I was quiet for her, and she fell asleep. Since my sinus' were still killing me I laid down and look who joined me. HA 

We did rally and got ready to head to Katlyn's house for game night. Katlyn is Kathryn's sister. 

She made chili and we played Family Feud. It was so much FUN! 

We got home around 9:30, washed our faces, and crashed. 

Thursday, November 20th- 

Ian to work, Ben to the office, Coffee and Jesus for me, and Ella off to school. I went to workout at Burn at 8:30. Then headed to my 9:45 hair appointment. I got home and cleaned out my closet. It was a mess. Ben and Ella headed to Addison's basketball game at 5pm. Ian went to hang out with friends and I heated up leftover soup for dinner. After Addison's game, Ben got home and Ella went to campaigners. I showered and curled up on the couch to wait for Ella to get home. 

This was my company as I cleaned out my closet! HA Trixie is so motivating. 😉

Friday, November 21st- 

Ian to work, Ben to the office, Coffee and Jesus for me, and Ella off to school. I went to workout at Burn at 8:30, had breakfast with Leigh Anne at CFA, and then went to my 10am nail appointment. I went to wash my car and Publix. 

I got home and cleaned up a little bit, did laundry, and read. Look what Ella's class gave her since she is having her wisdom teeth out today....

The teacher that she does her work base learning for gave her all the items. Stuff that she can eat and drink while she is healing. Then all her students colored her pictures with words of encouragement. She said her 2nd graders have her heart. 

Ella got home from school and wanted Sonic and needed to get gas so she took Trixie with her! Trixie loves a car ride. 

That evening, I cooked a frozen pizza and Ella and I watched Wicked. She is ready for go watch the second one but I needed to watch the first one first! I really like it. 

After the movie was over, I cleaned up and CRASHED! My alarm was set for 4AM. 

Saturday, November 22nd- 

We were up, ready, and on the road at 5:15am to head to Statesboro for the day. It was an 3 hour and 15 minute drive. We got to Statesboro, grabbed breakfast at CFA, and headed to campus for Tour and Tailgate. We all met as a group and got to hear from Southern ambassadors. After that part, you had a choice of what you wanted to do.... We had already had a tour so we were able to get her signed up for Freshman orientation. We paid her housing deposit already! Y'all this is getting way to real for my liking. 😭 We walked over to Southern Exchange for some Georgia Southern merch. 

Then it was time to get shuttled to the football field for the tailgate. 

We left a little before halftime to get on the road home. Looks like we will be making lots of trips to Southern to visit this girl. She is so excited. I am excited for her but I am going to miss her like crazy. 

We got home a little after 6pm. I showered and put on my pj's and curled up on the couch with Ian and Kathryn to watch the new Frankenstein movie. It was good but I definitely wouldn't watch it again. After the movie was over, I went to bed. 

Sunday, November 23rd- 

Ian went to play golf with Chris.  I watched church online and Ben pretty much chilled. We got ready around 11 and headed to Ben's aunts house for Thanksgiving but we had mexican. My gang loved it because mexican food is our favorite. We left there and got home around 4:25 just in time for Ben to watch the Falcons game. I caught up on laundry, typed this blog post, made Ian's lunch, set the coffee for this morning, and made sure Ella took the medicine she needed for her surgery. I curled up on the couch with my wine and Kindle. I was in bed by 9pm.
