Hello Monday | JGO Edition

Hello Monday! This is our first full week of school. I know by Wednesday evening we are going to be EXHAUSTED!

We had another great weekend. It rained here most of last week but Friday afternoon the sun came out and it was glorious.

I hope you will grab our graphic and join us for Hello Monday! Anything goes butI'm going to recap our weekend.

Friday started with my quiet time and I started this new book. Has anyone read it? Thoughts?

I was scrolling through the ole 'gram and squealed when I saw this...

Friday afternoon, I worked on LOTS of PTO stuff. I also worked on orders and adding new items to the shop.

Friday evening, I took Ian and 3 of his friends to Stars & Strikes along with his sister 😉

Saturday morning, we were up early and out the door by 6:30 AM to grab breakfast and get to the golf course by 7AM to host the 13th Annual Jack Gady Open. A golf tournament in memory of Ben's grandfather.

We had 12 teams for this year's open. PaPaw passed away 12 years ago on this exact day of the tournament. August 4th. The first JGO was the October after he passed away. We miss him like crazy.

Getting ready to tee off.

Myself, Colleen, Kim, and Ella were the cart girls. We took our job very seriously and I didn't take any more pictures until the tournament was over.

The 2018 JGO Winners.

Ella and Kaden were in charge of picking the best-dressed award aka The Jan-after Ben's grandmother that passed away February 2017

The couldn't decide between Team Irish and Team Shamrock so they put both names in a hat and drew...

Red Solo Cup Team won...

Everyone enjoyed food after the tournament.

Kim and Martin.

We got home and unloaded around 5ish. We all took showers and CRASHED! I made the mistake of laying in the bed after I got out of the shower. I dozed on and off until about 8:30 when I finally gave it up and went to bed for the night. #partyanimal

Sunday morning, we went to church. Afterward, we went to brunch at the club followed by a round of family golf. Well they played, I drank a glass of wine, read my Kindle, and did a few putts.

The rest of the afternoon consisted of laundry, packing book bags, lunches, snacks, and Ella writing an essay to apply for Safety Patrol.

How was your weekend??
