Our Week with Golf Practice, Galentine's, and Greenville

Happy Wednesday Friends! I hope your week is off to a GREAT start! I am recapping last week and weekend! Grab a coffee or wine and read all about it!

Monday, February 7th-

Coffee, Jesus, Ella to school, while Ian and I went to his annual physical. Then we grabbed breakfast, he went to school, and I went to Publix.

Unloaded all the groceries and got them put up. Worked on some golf booster stuff and grabbed the pups to go get Ella.

My Sweet Duke! He is seriously the BEST!

Both kids started golf practice for the high school on Monday afternoon.

We met Leigh Anne and Brett after practice for mexican and called it a night!

Tuesday, February 8th-

I documented this day for a day in the life post that never happened but I will share it here in my weekly recap!

6:30- Coffee and Jesus

7AM- Made lunches and then hopped on the Peloton.

Took Ella to school, ate breakfast while I emptied the dishwasher.

Then I got myself ready and headed to Beauty for Ashes at church.

Then it was home to work and catch up on blog reading.

2:45- Get in carpool to grab Ella.

We got home and Ella recorded herself reading her prom for homework.

Ben got home and he helped Ella chip in the backyard. While Ian went to conditioning for golf and then to Kathryn's.

I asked Ella to hand me my phone and this is what I find...

For dinner it was Taco Soup. Sometimes we eat at the table, other times we pile into the living room and watch tv.

Ben and I got in a few episodes of Designated Survivor.

Trixie loves when we sit still and watch tv.

I saw this on IG and y'all IT IS ME!!

Wednesday, February 9th-

Coffee, Jesus, Kids to School, made bread, and look at sweet Duke "sunning" on the back deck.

Look at all the bread.

After all the bread making, I did a clean sweep of the house, grabbed Ella from school, got her to golf practice, picked up the 2 cases of wine we purchased from our wine tasting, got home finished laundry, cooked dinner, and crashed.

Thursday, February 10th-

Coffee and Jesus. The kids were out of school, so I took Ella to her facial and eyebrow waxing appointment at 10:40. Grabbed lunch and headed to her hair appointment at 1pm. Then I dropped her off at golf practice, Leigh Anne picked me up and we headed to a Galentine's Charcuterie board class!

My Board

LA's Board

My sweet friend Amy also attended the class.

LA and I grabbed mexican afterwards, she dropped me off, and I crashed.

Friday, February 11th-

Coffee and Jesus. I enjoyed a slow morning while Ben worked from home and the kids headed to the golf course.

Around 11am, Ben and I headed to Greenville, SC to meet Keith and Dixie for the weekend. We rented the cutest AirBnB in downtown.

We found lunch and a rooftop bar, then checked in, enjoyed a drink and headed to dinner.

We went to dinner at Hall's Chophouse. We met the owner walking in and he gave us a glass of bubbly.

CHEERS.

Ben decided to drink wine with us girls so with the help from Isaac and we went with the 2019 Pommard.

Ben just needed a sip of bourbon. 😉

We walked home feeling good, drank a little more, and crashed.

Saturday, February 12th-

Ben and I were up early, went on the search for coffee and breakfast. Keith and Dixie joined us a little bit later and we went to SIPS. AMAZING!

We walked down to Falls Park.

We eventually made it back to the condo, sat on the back deck before heading back out for dinner and drinks at Neat.

We were all pretty exhausted so we crashed early.

Sunday, February 13th-

Ben and I were up early and got ready. We grabbed a coffee and were on the road home by 9am. We met the kids at Legends for brunch. I headed home and the rest of my gang went to play golf.

I got home started laundry, went through the mail and packages, typed out 2 blog post, got my planner set up for the week, printed orders that came in, looked up more HHI spots, meal planned, and watched the Super Bowl from half time on.....

But look at this sweet surprise from Ian and Kathryn when I got home.

They made me chocolate covered strawberries. MY FAVORITE.

Cheers to the rest of the week friends. It's one day closer to the weekend again!
