Hey Y'all! Happy Wednesday! I hope your week is off to a great start!! I am recapping last week and this past weekend!
Monday, March 11th-
Ben headed off to the office, I took care of the dogs, poured my coffee, and settled in for my coffee and quiet time.
I did a few things around the house including laundry!
I headed to the craftroom to blog, send a few emails, schedule Ben's garage door to be repaired. Then I spent the rest of the day on taxes. UGH!
Ella got home from school, changed and headed to golf practice. Ella got home followed shortly by Ben. We ate dinner and Ella headed to Young Life. Ben and I watched Suites, I cleaned the kitchen, showered, and waited for Ella to get home.
Tuesday, March 12th-
Ben headed to the office, I woke up not feeling great. Allergies are already in full force. After I took care of the dogs and enjoyed my coffee and quiet time, I took it easy, did a clean sweep of the house, got ready and headed to Ella's golf match.
After Ella's golf match, we went to Jersey Mike's for dinner because Ella was player of the week a few weeks ago and got a free sub!!
We got home, showered, got ready for bed, and crashed.
Wednesday, March 13th-
Another morning and the same morning routine. I got myself ready and headed to visit my sister and Stacey.
I left her house around 12:30, got home, ate lunch, and got ready to head to Ella's golf match about 50 minutes away. Ella and Lana got out of school early and I drop them to the match.

After the match, we met another golf family at a local pizza place. Ate dinner and enjoyed some fellowship, got home, showered, and crashed.
Thursday, March 14th-
Ben headed to the office, I took care of the dogs, enjoyed my coffee and quiet time, got ready, and then Ella, Kathryn, and myself headed to LaGrange. We got there about 10:50, stopped by Bailey's apartment, enjoyed lunch at Karavela's, dropped off Bailey, went to see the softballs fields because Ian takes care of the softball fields for his work study, went to see his dorm, the bookstore, then the girls went to a cute little shop while Ian headed to golf practice. I dropped the girls off at Ian's dorm and I. headed home. Ella was spending the night with Bailey and Kathryn was staying with Ian.
On my way home, I stopped by Ben's office to visit, on the way home I picked up Duke's medicine, I got home and Ben and I just chilled, and watched Suits. It was a great day.
Friday, March 15th-
Ben headed to the office, the pups and I slept in for a little bit, then I got up and took care of them, enjoyed my coffee and quiet time, I hopped on the Peloton, got ready and met Talia for lunch at El Real.
We enjoyed margaritas and fajitas.
After lunch we did a little bit of shopping and look what we saw in Bath and Body Works.
I think Trixie needs to go on our next shopping adventures. 😁
Ian drove Ella and Kathryn home from their overnight trip to LaGrange. They got home around 2PM. I got home, got everything put away, they were all napping, I cooked bagel bites for dinner. I know real fancy! HA
We were all exhausted from a busy week. So we all seemed to crash fairly early. I did stay up for a little while talking to my sister.
Saturday, March 16th-
I was up around 6:45, started the coffee, took care of the dogs, poured my coffee and enjoyed part of my quiet time reading, then the boys were up, and we all went to Waffle House for breakfast. After breakfast, I went to WalMart to pick up my order, ran my car through the car wash, stopped by Publix to get 3 things that WalMart was out of. Got home, unloaded the car, and Ben and the kids headed to play Ashton Hills golf course in Covington because Ella had a match there on Monday. I started cleaning up, putting up groceries, and finished my quiet time reading.
Trixie was waiting on Grammy because she heard something about taco meat! HA
Colleen got to the house around 4:45 and we started cooking mexican for dinner. Chris got here and then Ben and the kids pulled in! Shortly after we ate dinner, the guys went to the back deck to smoke cigars! Ella went to spend the night at a friends house. Grammy and I cleaned up the kitchen, enjoyed some time on the back deck with the guys. Chris and Grammy left around 8ish. I finished getting a few things done like setting the coffee and starting the dishwasher.
I curled up on the couch to relax for a few minutes before heading to bed.
Sunday, March 17th-
Ben and Ian headed to Legends to play golf, Ella was at a friends so I enjoyed my coffee and quiet time. I watched church online at 9:30. Afterwards, I got busy doing house chores, finishing laundry, blogging, ran to Publix. I grilled steaks for a late lunch/early dinner before Ian headed back to school.
I had just washed my face and put on my pjs when I got a call from Halie (my youngest nephews wife) that Stacey (my brother in law) had been having seizures for several hours and they were instructed by the hospice nurse to call 911 when his last seizure had lasted 8 minutes. I threw on clothes and was in route to their house when she called back to tell me they were headed to the ER.
We waited for them to get there, get settled, and then we were able to go back and see them 2 at a time. They were able to give him medication to get the seizures to stop and we are currently waiting to see the drs for the next steps.
I got home around 11:15 and crawled into bed.
