Our Week with The Tour Championship, Lunch and Shopping with Talia, and Senior Parking Spot Painting.

 Hey Y'all! Happy Thursday! I know I don't normally blog on a Thursday but I am trying to catch up on recaps. 

Monday, August 18th- 

Ian to work, Ben headed to play in a golf tournament, Ella to school, and coffee and Jesus for me. I walked with Keri and then I deep cleaned my room. I just have to finish cleaning out my drawers. I did some laundry. When Ian got home from work, he started his online classes for VSU! 

I haven't rode on my Peloton in a long time since I have been going to a gym and walking with Keri but I did discover that it now has the kindle app on it so on the days I don't walk with Keri, I really need to hop on it and read!!

Everyone got home and I cooked a pasta dish for dinner. I need to share the recipe because it is so easy and everyone in my family loves it. 

I cleaned up the kitchen, showered, pjs, and the couch! 

Tuesday, August 19th- 

Ian to work, Ben to the office, coffee and Jesus for me, I got ready and took Duke to the vet for bloodwork, and went to Ella school. 

Look at sweet Duke with his little leg wrapped.... All his blood work came back great! He's doing great with his CHF and being 12.5 years old. 

I dropped Duke off at home, did a little work, and then went to help serve lunch to teachers and staff at a local middle school with our church. It was so much fun and did my servant heart so good. 

I got home and worked in the craft room. It was a MESS! 

At 6pm, I went to an FFA meeting and then met the boys at El Real for dinner and Ella went to the softball game. 

I was exhausted so I went to bed and Ben waited up for Ella to get home! 

Wednesday, August 20th- 

Ian to work and then Myself, Ella, and Ben got ready to head to Atlanta for The Tour Championship. As I was typing this recap, I decided to give The Tour Championship it's own post. I will get it up in the next 2 weeks or so. Y'all it was such an amazing day that it needs it's own post. 

I will just share this.....Ella ran to get Tommy Fleetwood's autograph and he ended up WINNING The Tour Championship. 

On our way home, we stopped by El Torero near Stone Mountain for an early dinner. When we got home, we were all ready to SHOWER because we were so sweaty. I showered and curled up on the couch before crashing. 

Thursday, August 21st- 

Ian to work, Ben to the office, coffee and Jesus for me, and Ella to school. I went to workout and then walked with Keri. I got ready and headed to Costco. We needed a good bit of stuff. As I was leaving Costco a lady rear ended me. Thankfully it was nothing major to my car. It just messed up the trailer hitch cover. and Praise Jesus we were both ok. We did call 911 so we could get a police report for insurance purposes. 

In all honestly, I didn't even know I had a trailer hitch! HA 

Finally making it home and unloading all the Costco haul. I was tired and chilled out for a little bit. I did finally put up all the Costco stuff and did a clean sweep of the house. 

Everyone started getting home and I made BBQ chicken for dinner. We ate, cleaned up, showered, pjs, and the couch!! 

Friday, August 22nd- 

Ian to work, Ben to the office, coffee and Jesus for me, and Ella off to school. I did some laundry and blog work. I got ready and headed to lunch with Talia. Also El Real for fajitas and margaritas. Then we did a little shopping. Home Goods, Bath and Body Works, and TJ Maxx. 

Love my new pumpkin pillow. 

Friday night, I ordered pizza for dinner. Ella went to the football game and the rest of us chilled for the rest of the evening. 

Saturday, August 23rd- 

Ian went to work and Ella went to school to take the SAT. While she was taking the test, Ben and I went to Waffle House for breakfast and Ian ended up meeting us there. Then we went to Home Depot to get all the paint and supplies to paint Ella's parking spot. 

When Ella got home, her and Ben headed to the Tour Championship again. It was raining on and off all day so I went to Publix to get the supplies to make Taco Soup for dinner. Ian and Kathryn went to her cousins softball game. I did more laundry and blog work. 

Then when Ian and Kathryn got home, we ate, and I put on my pj's to chill and wait for Ben and Ella to get home. I ended up falling asleep and had the BEST nap. 

I also got this mug while we were shopping on Friday so I used it Saturday morning and sent this picture to Talia. 

Ben and Ella had the best time at the Tour Championship. 

Once we were all home, We crashed. 

Sunday, August 24th- 

Ben and Ian slept in, Ella went to Waffle House with friends, coffee and Jesus for me. I got ready and met Ella at school at 9am to start painting her parking spot. Y'all it took us 6 hours. Kathryn came to help us as well!! 

In between layers of paint dying, we walked around talking to friends and looking at their spots.

I got home around 3:20 and look who was still in our bed! HA Please note that Ben didn't make the bed when he got out of it. 

Ben and Ian went to play in a golf tournament about and 1.5 hours away. They teed off at 2pm. When I got home, I showered and put on my pj's. I was so exhausted. I curled up on the couch and read for awhile, ate leftover taco soup, and Ella finally got home from helping other friends painting and them going to dinner around 8:45 and I went to bed. Ben and Ian got home around 9:40 but I was already sound asleep. I didn't even hear Ben get in the bed. Painting a parking spot for 6 hours is not for the faint of heart. It's hard work. 

If you read my post yesterday, then you know that my plan was to hopefully have the Bar Cart decorated for Football but that post is not going to happen. I will be back Tuesday, September 2nd with Prime Purchases.
