Our Weekend with the Daddy/Daughter Dance, a Goodbye, & Winterfest

Happy Monday Friends! Our weekend was fun but sad at the same time. Saturday morning my sister called to tell me that my sweet PawPaw went to be with Jesus. He shared Jesus with everyone he met and he finally got to meet him face to face Saturday morning. We are so sad and heartbroken. If you pray, please keep my family in your prayers. We have the visitation tonight and the funeral tomorrow. Please also keep my sweet MawMaw in your prayers. She is going to be so lost without him. They just celebrated their 68th wedding anniversary.

I hope you will grab our graphic and link up with us!

On a happier note, let me share with y'all the rests of our weekend.

Friday I weighted in at WW. I was down -0.6!! YAY!

Then it was home to work on some orders and I watched Rachal Hollis' Made for More movie on Amazon. It was so good and encouraging.

After I got both kids from school, I got this girl ready for the Daddy/Daughter Dance. Then her and I headed back to the school to set up for the dance.

Look at my beautiful girl.

She LOVED that her dress could twirl.

When Ben got to the school he told her to come outside to his truck and he surprised her with this...

A beautiful daddy/daughter necklace.

After the dance some of the dads took the girls to Menchie's and they had the BEST time.

I got home around 9PM and CRASHED!

Saturday morning, I woke up poured my coffee and was starting my quiet time when my sister called to tell me my grandfather had passed away. My heart just BROKE.

Remember when I shared this picture with y'all just a few short weeks ago...

I called Ben because him and Ian were at the golf course. He was like "we are on our way home" I told him no there wasn't anything he could really do. I told him to enjoy their round of golf and I would see them later. My sweet mother in law came to hang out with Ella while I went to meet my family at the nursing home and then we all went to the funeral home.

After the arrangements were made. My mom, sister, and brother in law went to purchase a shirt for my grandfather to be buried in while my cousin and I went to handle the flowers. After all of that was finished, I went home, got myself ready, dropped the kids off at a friends house while Ben and I went to his company's Winterfest. It was good to have a night out and get my mind off of everything.

Ben went to help one of his co-workers set up the prizes but he dropped me off at the bar. God Bless him.

We partied it up in the photo booth.

It was such a fun night. and I am glad we got to enjoy ourselves after such a stressful day.

Sunday morning Ben went to pick up the kids then we went to IHop for Breakfast. We made it back home in time to watch our church service on Facebook Live. I had a lot to accomplish yesterday because today and tomorrow are going to be rough.

I hope y'all have a great week.
