Our Weekend with Valentine's Day, Golf, and a Date

Happy Tuesday! We are back to our regular schedule program. HA The kids were out of school on Friday and yesterday! I am recapping our weekend a day late because Ben and I didn't have the kids Sunday evening so I spent the evening curled up on the couch with him instead of blogging.

Thursday evening, I cooked our traditional Valentine's dinner. Homemade lasagna. yum!

Cupid dropped off each kid a $25 Amazon gift card and their FAVORITE candy.

I love any reason to use my china.

I added a chocolate fountain this year because I wanted to do a trial run using my new chocolate fountain because after the 8th grade dance Ian wants his friends to come back to our house and me set up a dessert bar. As you can see I didn't use enough chocolate to have a "smooth" fountain since it was just the 4 of us but I know now how much chocolate to use.

The pups Valentined hard.....

Friday morning, Ben and Ian headed to Reynold's Plantation for a practice round of golf. Ella and I went to visit my grandmother. Ella used Snapchat filters on her and she was cracking up laughing.

Friday afternoon, I was scrolling through Instastories and saw that Chateau Elan shared my picture from Valentine's Day. I felt pretty important. 😉

Friday night, we attended the Gym Dogs meet because Ella's chorus was performing the NAtional Anthem.

They did a FANTASTIC job!

Saturday morning we were up bright and early to get this kid back to The Landing at Reynold's Plantation for his golf tournament.

Golf Parents. 😉

It was definitely not Ian's best round of gold but he got in practice and enjoyed himself so that is all the mattered.

Saturday evening we got home and CRASHED!

Sunday morning, we went to church and brunch then the kids went to Chris and Kim's for the night. While they were playing games and hanging out with the pups...

Ben and I were chilling hanging out with our pups.

We did end up going out to dinner with Davy and Sarah.

Monday morning, Chris dropped the kids off around 9:30. I grocery shopped, did 8 loads of laundry, meal prepped, clean the house, decorated the bar cart for St. Patrick's Day, and cooked dinner. It was a productive Monday!

How was your weekend? Were you off yesterday??
