Friday Favorites | Presidents Trip 2022

 Happy Friday Y'all! I am recapping one of my FAVORITE trips of the whole year. Ben's Presidents Trip. This year we went to Scottsdale, AZ. We stayed at the Fairmont Princess Scottsdale. 

Wednesday, October 26th- 

We got to the airport around 6:30 AM for our 8:30 AM flight to Phoenix, AZ. We landed around 9:30 so we went back in time. Ha 😜

We got to our resort, ate lunch, got to the room, and then headed to the pool. Here are pictures of our room that we sent to the kids...

After the pool, we got ready for A Welcome Cocktails party. Then we went to dinner at La Hacienda at the resort. We crashed hard. With a 3 hour time change, it felt like the longest day ever. 

Thursday, October 27th- 

We were up so early because of the time difference. Ben headed to play at Wekopa golf course just outside of Scottdale. 

I went to breakfast and to the spa. 

After the spa, I went back to the room. Look how cute the outside of our buildings were. 

After I changed clothes and got myself ready, it was still a little chilly to head to the pool so I headed down to enjoy a mimosa and read my book. I ordered this mimosa flight and it was awful. I ended up just going with a traditional mimosa. 

 

The rest of the day, we spent it at the pool. We got ready and headed to dinner at Toro. 

Friday, October 28th- 

We were up and ready, grabbed breakfast, and enjoyed a coffee by the fireplace. It was chilly in the mornings. Ben headed to play golf at TPC Scottsdale. I walked around the resort and then headed to the pool again. 

They were putting up an ice stating rink for Christmas at The Princess. 

TPC was just beyond the pond. 

Leigh Anne sent me a text that she was watching Hallmark movies and this was what I was doing! HA 

We got ready and headed to the outdoor fire pits before heading to dinner at Bourbon Steakhouse. 

After dinner, we sat by a different fireplace with a few others and enjoyed wine and the guys had cigars. 

Saturday, October 29th- 

We were up early again, ate breakfast, and headed to the cabana for the day to watch football. You can take us out of the south but you can't take the south of out us!! 

Go DAWGS! 

We had a farewell dinner on Saturday evening and then we checked out a Halloween party the resort was hosting. Didn't stay out late because we were scheduled to leave the resort at 7:45am. 

Bye  Arizona!  

We landed around 4:30, got our luggage, ordered door dash, got home, hugged our babies, unpacked, and called it a night.
