Hello Monday | Apple Pickin' Edition

Happy Monday Friends! I hope everyone had a great weekend! I pray that everyone has stayed safe from Hurricane Florence.

I hope you will grab our NEW graphic and join us for Hello Monday! Link up below! Anything goes but as usual, I am recapping our weekend.

Friday was busy. The morning started with me unloading my car at the school with a lot of Fall Festival goodies. PTO is hosting the annual Fall Festival this Friday evening. Then I went to the gym for about 45 minutes. After that, I ran all the errands.

When I was all finished with carpool, I made Duke and Trixie homemade doggie treats for Trixie's birthday. They were so easy and both doggies approved. I used oats, peanut butter, and a banana. Mix the ingredients really well into a ball. Then I flatten it out and cut them into heart shapes. Baked in the oven on 350 for 12 minutes.

Finally, we ended our evening under the Friday Night Lights. It was Homecoming. Ella and I LOVED seeing all the pretty dresses.

My FAVORITE #FNL partner.

After the game, we dropped Ian and his friend, Dawson off at Dawson's house to spend the night.

Saturday morning, we were up bright and early. Ben headed to the golf course while me, Ella, and the pups meet Grammy to go Apple Pickin'.

But not before we sang Happy Birthday to this girl...

After being in the car for 1 hour and a half, we finally made it to BJ Reese's Apple House.  We were ready to apple pick.
On Saturday, we were able to pick Golden Delicious, Red Delicious, Rome Beauty, & Crimson Crisp.

Duke was loving the orchards but it was HOT.

Just a girl and her pup strolling through the apple trees.

Ella found the PERFECT Golden Delicious apple but she had to climb up the tree to get it.

We took a wagon ride.

Selfie with the birthday pup.

A beautiful view.

My beautiful baby girl.

Who talked me into going Ziplining with her. It was a 1,000-foot long zip line.

On our way home from the orchard's, we listened to the GEORGIA game. How 'bout them DAWGS??

Ben picked Ian up from Dawson's after his round of golf. When they got home they set up the tent and tv on the back deck because we ended up having a few friends over to watch football for the rest of the evening.

Sunday morning it was raining so we were SUPER lazy.
We all looked like this...

The boys go stir crazy just sitting around the house so they went up to the country club for lunch and hoping they might be able to get 9 holes in if the rain ever stopped. They didn't get to play.

Meanwhile, the girls watched Hocus Pocus and worked in our planners. I made my To-Do list for this week, got orders printed out, & meals planned

I did manage to empty the dishwasher, reload it and run it again, sweep, mop, 7 loads of laundry, meal prep, pack lunches, and snacks. Plus squeeze in a rainy Sunday afternoon catnap.
#momlife

It's going to be a crazy busy week but I have my game plan mapped out so I ready! It's also a big week around here. Wednesday,  I take my mom for her first radiation treatment. I plan on sharing more of this story later this week. Wednesday evening, I am working football concessions for Ian's school. Thursday- Ben and I celebrate 15 years of marriage and Friday is the Fall Festival at Ella's school.

What is on your agenda for this week?
