We Watched our FAVORITE Team Play in our FAVORITE City

Happy Friday Friends! I hope you had a fantastic week! Last weekend, we kicked off Georgia football by watching our dawgs in Nashville so we got to watch our FAVORITE team play in one of our FAVORITE cities! I am recapping our trip today!

But before we dive into the weekend let's see how we "prepared" for our little weekend getaway!

Monday, August 26th, we ran through CFA drive through for National Dog Day Treats! It was whipped cream with dog treats on the bottom of the bowl.

As you can see they just hated them! 😉Just kidding! I think it was their highlight of the week!

Later that evening, we drove up to Athens to the Georgia Bookstore for game day gear! and of course had to walk across the street to see the stadium.

Thursday afternoon, Ella and I went to get mani's and pedi's for the game. Had to have those red toes for my bulldawgs! We needed Starbucks to help us along! HA

Friday morning, we left SUPER early heading toward Nashville because our kids had Friday and Monday off from school.

Our first stop was the Country Music Hall of Fame.

Elvis' gold cadillac.

Smokey and the Bandit.

After the Hall of Fame, we went to eat lunch at Luke's 32 Bridge!

Great live music Stuart Clawson Music.

We walked across the pedestrian bridge.

Later that afternoon, we went to see our dear friends, The Pepper's, who moved just outside of Nashville a little over a year ago! It was so good to see them and hug their necks!

Love my sweet Hannah!

Saturday morning, we enjoyed a breakfast at Waffle House then set up shop for tailgating the rest of the day!

The cutest football earring from The Sandy Pearls!

Tailgating is ROUGH!

They rode these scooters forever!

Around 5, we started cleaning up and heading to the stadium.

We got to see my FAVORITE player warm up! #respectthespecs

Then it was time for the DAWGS to come out...

and the heavens said "GO DAWGS"

Look at sweet ole Kirby!

Oakridge Boys sang the National anthem.

How we felt about Vandy introducing their entire Freshman class....BORING!

Sweet 98 praying!

The game was off to a great start so I decided I needed another "drink" and the kids wanted a snack. Well guys I was gone for over an hour getting 4 things. A Truly, a water, and 2 personal size pizzas!

The lines were CRAZY. However, I did see Dallas Davidson while in line. Remember he is one of the Peach Pickers that we travel to Nashville to see each year for the Georgia on my Mind concert.

4th Quarter

We had the best time! Our Bulldawgs won 30-6!

Cheers to the weekend!!

Linking up with Andrea and Whitney!
