Our Weekend at the Lake with The Boswell's

Hey! Hey! So sorry for my absence yesterday. We got home from the lake Sunday evening around 6, got unpacked, and I CRASHED! I didn't feel all that well and I could barely keep my eyes opened so I was showered and in bed by 8:30. I didn't even stir until 6:30 and I felt a lot better when I woke up!

So let me recap our weekend...

Before we left for the lake we went to our high schools football game because the 2 high schools in our county were playing against each other. Unfortunately we lost but I looked the part. πŸ˜‰On Friday nights we cheer for the Navy and Gold but on Saturdays we are all RED AND BLACK!

For this look, I used the Navy and Gold eye liner which are $25 each but last a LONG time.

We arrived at the lake a little after 1AM. We were all exhausted and quickly crashed. But Saturday morning, we were up and ready for a day on the water.

We took the kids out for a little while and then came back and Ian went fishing and he had a friend! HA

Then later the boys went back out on the water while the girls just chilled.

Then Ella took Trixie kayaking.

Sweet Bailey Ann watched over my girls.

Trixie jumped out of the kayak and I had to dry her off.

It's rough being Trixie.

Soon after drying her off, we looked like this... Sound asleep and Leigh Anne took our picture. Isn't she so sweet?!?!?

Then it was Ella's turn to love on Trixie.

Later that afternoon, we were back out on the water before the Georgia game.

I added a little Fly Girl Lipsense for the game. ($25)

Hang on boys!

Love this crew so MUCH!

Bailey looked like this when she finally got in the boat.

We made it back to the house ate Mexican then it was time for the game. We had a little technical difficulties but we ended up watching the game gathered around Ben's iPad.

The kids were fishing during the game and Ella caught a catfish so our pro fisherman had to go help her because we all know she wasn't touching that fish.

We all trickled off to bed and our DAWGS won 43-14

Sunday morning, we cooked a big breakfast and slowly made our way down to the dock and out on the boat.

I mean seriously. I love this picture of Ben and LuLu that Leigh Anne captured. My favorite man and and one of my FAVORITE pups. LuLu is seriously the sweetest and most loyal dog ever. She will be 10 in December and was the rut of her litter so Ella and I think she is the perfect size lab! We love our LuLu and I'm pretty sure the feeling is mutual πŸ˜‰

Is it really that difficult to take a selfie with your mama??

Apparently it is to Brett. I mean his best friend is the same way so what more could we expect! HA

We finally made it out on the water and it was so peaceful.

Love my sweet girl.

We found a rope swing and the boys had a lot of fun.

Ella did it once and so no more.

I lost track of how many times the boys went on it...

All while this guy was watching and cheering them on. I'm pretty sure he would have done it if he wouldn't have had to ride back to the house wet. It was overcast and chilly.

After we got back to the house, we loaded up and headed home where we unpacked and I crashed!

We were productive yesterday and I got all my chores finished!

How is your week going so far?
