Our Week with Ian's State Tournament, Honor Awards, Golf Banquet, and the Lake.

Happy Tuesday Fridays! Oh My Goodness...Y'all we have been so busy and we only have today and a half a day tomorrow left of school then you can find us at the pool or the golf course 😉

Our Week with a New Logo and Our Anniversary!

Happy Wednesday Friends! I hope your week is off to a great start!! I have been really productive so far! We are hosting our annual Bulldawg Bash this Saturday for the first game of the season so I am working hard to get everything set up for that!!

Let me recap last week and weekend...

Monday, September 14th-

I dropped the kids off at school for their cohort schedule. I worked out, took Trixie to have her ears rechecked, worked on orders, and then carpool. I also went through my SeneGence order that arrived and packaged those orders.

Our Week When I Went to Vote and a Trip to the Lake!

Happy Wednesday Friends! I hope your week is off to a great start! So far ours has been fun and productive. I am recapping last week for y'all today!

Monday, June 8th-

I dropped Ian off at the course to watch one of his buddies play in a tournament, went to Flex class at the gym, worked on orders, went grocery shopping, blogged, etc....AKA productive! HA I did share a recap of another trip to the lake and LOTS of golf.

Apparently, so productive I didn't take one picture!

Tuesday, June 9th-

We started the morning pretty slow but then I got ready, dropped Ian off to Ben to drop him off at the golf course, ran to VOTE, and then to Target.

Our Week with a Trip to the Lake and LOTS of Golf

Happy Monday Friends! I hope you had a great weekend! I also hope you will grab our graphic and link up below!

Our Week with Bailey's Graduation and a Lake Day

Happy Wednesday Friends! Instead of What's Up Wednesday this month I am recapping last week! I don't feel like we have been up to anything new.

I will warn you that it is going to be picture OVERLOAD because we had a busy week!

I do want to back up to Sunday, May 17th.

I mentioned in this weekly recap that we meet the boys at the course. Well I took a few pictures and wanted to add them.

I love these 3!

Lazy Lake Days

Happy Wednesday Friends! I have really struggled with sharing these pictures because we did take two lake trips with some dear friends during our quarantine time but in the end this is my little space on the internet that I use as a scrapbook for our family so I didn't want to leave these pictures out. Yes, I know anyone can view, read, and leave comments. It's the ugly comments that I am hoping that I do not receive. Both families chose to spend this time together and we did follow the "no gathering larger than 10 people" but we not good at social distancing. I mean we did make sure to wash our hands more, not eat or drink after each other, etc. But we were not always 6 feet apart.

We are backing up to March 27th-29th and April 3rd-5th

March 27th-

We got to the lake late Thursday, March 26th- got everything unpacked, the boats in the water, etc.

Friday morning started with Ben on a call with his team.

Our Weekend at the Lake with The Boswell's

Hey! Hey! So sorry for my absence yesterday. We got home from the lake Sunday evening around 6, got unpacked, and I CRASHED! I didn't feel all that well and I could barely keep my eyes opened so I was showered and in bed by 8:30. I didn't even stir until 6:30 and I felt a lot better when I woke up!

So let me recap our weekend...

Before we left for the lake we went to our high schools football game because the 2 high schools in our county were playing against each other. Unfortunately we lost but I looked the part. 😉On Friday nights we cheer for the Navy and Gold but on Saturdays we are all RED AND BLACK!

For this look, I used the Navy and Gold eye liner which are $25 each but last a LONG time.

Hello Monday | Lake Weekend

Hello Monday! I hate to say this but this is our LAST full week of Summer. I'm so sad but I'm happy at the same time because we really need routine in our lives again! HA I feel like we are all over the place!

But anyway, I hope you will grab our graphic and join us!

Our Weekend at the Lake

Happy Thursday friends!! I hope everyone is having a great week! We had a great time at the lake with friends and so I am going to share all of our fun!

Friday, Leigh Anne and I got to the lake late afternoon with all the kids. We unpacked, got snacks, drinks, and headed to the water. Leigh Anne bought this float for Spring Break but the water was so cold we couldn't enjoy it but this trip it was HEAVENLY.

Spring Break at the lake & a concert

Hey there Thursday, I know I normally don't post today but we had such a FUN spring break that I had to add a day to the blog calendar. 😉

To see the first part of our Spring Break fun, click here.

Easter Sunday evening we headed to the lake with our dear friends. Monday morning we woke up ready for FUN!!!

Leigh Anne bought this really cool mat for us to float on and clearly the boys had no fun with it. This is what they did to entertain themselves while we waited on our "captain" to take us on a boat ride.

Spring Break Bucket List

Hello Monday! We are waking up at the lake this morning with some of our best friends! The kids are off from school this week for Spring Break! So I thought it would be fun to share our Spring Break Bucket List.

Lake Life and Lovin' it

Happy Tuesday Friends!! I hope your week is off to a great start! We spent the weekend at the lake with some of our FAVORITE people and I am going to share that with y'all today!

Thursday, We took Ben's team out for a lake gathering! One of his co-workers lives on Lake Lanier and she was generous enough to let us use her house and dock for the day! We enjoyed BBQ from Moonie's! Y'all it was delicious! We had the best time.   Ben's dad took Ian to play golf and Grammy came to hang out with Ella for the day!

I ordered a few new hats and love them!

We got home right at 6:00, packed up the car and headed to Lake Sinclair to meet The Boswell's for the weekend. But not before we stopped by Striplings for bacon cheddar burgers, sausage, and steaks!
Trixie came to the lake with us and Duke stayed with Grammy and Granddaddy! But have no fear..he throughly enjoyed being an only kid for the weekend.

Ben and Brett are always happy to see each other! Ben is just a big kid at heart!

Friday morning, Rob took Brett and Ian fishing so Ben and I took Trixie on her first boat ride while the girls were still sleeping!

When we got back to the dock we found LuLu in the water.

Trixie just walked the seawall following her in the water... It's like she was thinking what are you doing in the water. I think at one point she even barked at her.

Right after we got back from our boat ride the boys returned from fishing! Brett loves Trixie!

The boys played Nintendo while everyone else was waking up, eating breakfast, and getting ready to go out on the boat.

By 10:30 that morning, we were back out on the water.

The boys tubed...

The girls finally joined them.

LuLu even joined us for a boat ride!

LuLu loves the water. She is the best dog ever. She is so sweet and gentle.

We went back to the house for lunch and then to hang out on the dock.

Friday evening, we grilled steaks for dinner along with baked potatoes and salad!

Rob decided to feed Trixie the "fatty" part of the steak. It was so GROSS. I was gagging. Trixie, on the other hand, LOVED it.

Sunsets are truly amazing but over the lake, they are just spectacular. Photo credits to Ella :)

Saturday morning, started with more Nintendo for these two goofballs.

These two crack me up. They really are like two peas in a pod.

Slowly, everyone else started to wake up and I found my three babies like this...

Saturday afternoon, we found a cove to hang out in and swim.

Two beautiful girls

We were just a floatin'

Saturday evening, we had a low country boil for dinner but not before a friendly game of cornhole.

Another new hat.

Trixie and I were the cornhole cheerleaders.

While Ella hung out in her ENO. (similar)

Literally...

Later that evening, we went for a boat ride. Rob and his new best friend, Trixie. I swear she made the Grinch's heart grow two sizes this trip. 😉

I loved how her ears "blew" in the wind.

Sunday, we were out on the water around 10:30/11:00 again. But this time the mamas TUBED! WHAT??? and look...NO HANDS!

We even made sure to run into The Smith's while we were on the water.

We went to another cove to swim for a bit then we headed home for lunch but this time Rob tubed back.

After lunch, everyone pretty much looked like this...

Sunday evening, we grilled burgers for dinner. While the dads were grilling, the siblings were playing cornhole.

After dinner, Bailey had a great idea for us to find another cove to swim and play while we watch the sunset.

So off we went...

AWE..Rob and LeighAnne.

Look I even paddle boarded. I was very impressed with myself.

The sunset was BEAUTIFUL!

My Boswell babies. I love these two like my own.

I wanted a boy picture. You see how well that turned out. 😝

We got back to the lake house ride around 9:00pm. Then it was showers for everyone. We talked on the porch for a little while until a storm rolled in. We were all in bed around 11:00.

Monday morning, we got up and started packing...BOO :( but not before Ben took the kids out on the boat one last time.

We were all packed up and headed home by Noon. We love the lake and we love The Boswells' for always hosting us!! Until next time...
