Our Week with Hair Appointment, Serving Lunch to Teachers, and The Lake.

Hey Y'all! Happy Thursday. I hope your week is going well.  I am going to recap August 25th-August 31st. 

Monday, August 25th- 

Ian to work, Ben to the office, coffee and Jesus for me, Ella went to school. I got dog food on to cook and laundry going before enjoying a quiet morning before going to my hair appointment at 12:15. I got home and put a chicken pasta dish in the crockpot. I saw it on IG on several different accounts. I didn't get a picture because my boys inhaled it. Next time I make it, I will share the recipe. I cleaned up, got lunches made, coffee set, showered, and crashed on the couch. 

Tuesday, August 26th-

Ian to work, Ben to the office, coffee and Jesus for me, Ella went to school, and I had to get the dogs to the groomer by 8am. I got home, got ready, picked up the dogs, dropped them off at home, and headed to a local middle school to help serve lunch to the teachers and staff. 

I got home and did things around the house and typed up a blog post. Later that day, Ben and I went out to dinner because it was just him and I home for dinner. We went to Top Dawg and sat at the bar. 

We got home, I made lunches, took care of the dogs, got the coffee ready for the next day, showered, and waited for the kids to get home. 

But please look at this goofy boy when he got home from work.... He is starving when he gets home from work around 3pm. 

Ian went to Kathryn's sisters house and Ella went to Lana's softball game. 

Wednesday, August 27th- 

Ian to work, Ben to the office, coffee and Jesus for me, and Ella to school. I did some laundry and then got ready to head to an elementary school to help serve lunch. It's the same elementary school that Ella is doing her work base learning so I got to see her as well. I left there around 12:15, grabbed CFA, and then headed to the dentist. I got home, did stuff around the house, and then met Ben at the high school for a Booster Club Meeting. 

We got home and heated up the leftover chicken pasta meal for dinner. Then I made lunches, coffee for the next day, browned ground beef that needed to be used, showered, and chilled. 

Thursday, August 28th- 

Ian to work, Ben to the office, coffee and Jesus for me, and Ella off to school. I started packing and then got ready to head to my 10am nail appointment and then to Publix for lake groceries. 

I got home and finished packing and doing things around the house for me to leave for the lake with LA. 

LA picked me up around 3:30. We loaded her car, stopped at Striplings, and then headed to the lake. We got to the lake right at 6pm, unloaded, unpacked all the groceries, and then chilled before crashing. 

Ian spent the night at Kathryn's and Ella spent the night at Olivia's so Ben and the pups were solo. 

Friday, August 29th- 

Ian to work, Ben to the office, Me at the lake, Ella got home, got ready and headed to have lunch with her dad! LA and I chilled while Brett and his friend went fishing, we ate an early lunch, and by 1pm we went out on the boat. 

Brett was a great captain. 

Ian and Kathryn got to the lake around 7:30ish. Ella went to the football game and Ben waited on her to drive down. 

She has a hoco date. 

Ella wanted us to wait up until her and Ben got there so we passed the time by watching the kids play games and LA and I talking. We couldn't stop or we would have fallen asleep. HA 

At 12AM, LA, myself, and Brett all text ROB for his birthday. Ben and Ella got to the lake around 12:30AM. I talked to them for a minute and then I went to bed at 12:55. 

Saturday, August 30th- COLLEGE GAME DAY! 

It was like Christmas morning for Ben. College Football was BACK! We ate breakfast as everyone was waking up.

A group of about 6 girls on jet skis ended up in our cove and Brett was checking them out! HA 

Oh Brett. 

Ian was his wingman while Kathryn was napping and they did take a boat out to check them out but it was a no go! HA 

After all the football and then during a commercial break of the 7:30 game, we sang happy birthday to Rob. LA made him a cookie cake. 

Never know what I will find on my phone when these 2 have it in their possession. 🤣

LA and I were chilling on the couch and Brett came and sat in between us and Brett said this feels awkward so you know I had to grab a picture! 

We finally all crashed. 

Sunday, August 31st- 

Another great day of waking up at the lake. Breakfast as everyone was waking up. By 11am, we took the kids tubing. 

These 2 living their best 8 year old selves! HA 

We got back to the house and enjoyed a low country boil for lunch with some of The Boswell's friends. We cleaned up and everyone just chilled and talked. I headed to the dock for a little bit. Then we all went on boat rides and Ian found the tree swing they did when they were little. 

Then it was time for these 2 to enjoy their redneck water slide! HA 

Before he put enough water and soap on it! HE just STOPPED! 

We got back to the house, chilled, snacked, enjoyed a fire for smores, watched more football, and then crashed.
