Santa Rosa Beach 2025

Hey Y'all! It has been CRAZY around here and this little space just got pushed to the back burner and for that I am sorry. I have missed y'all! Hopefully, we are getting back into our "grove" with school starting back on Friday! 

I am recapping our time in Santa Rosa Beach. 

Saturday, July 12th- 

We got on the road around 6:30. It was a pretty easy drive. We stopped at Buc-ees in Auburn, AL. That was our only stop and we got to the house around 12 (CT). We unpacked our cars, unloaded the groceries that I packed, made a grocery list, and Colleen and I headed to Publix. We were back to the house around 2:30ish. 

Unloaded groceries, put on swim suits, and went to the pool. Colleen and Kelly went out to get pizza for dinner. 

We ate and this girl started her lego set from Kelly. 

This was Kelly's set. 

Later we cleaned up and played cards. 

We all pretty much crashed. 

Sunday, July 13th- 

By 10am, we were all up, ate breakfast, and back out by the pool. 

After lunch beach naps are the BEST! 

We moved our little party to the beach and these 2 played bocce ball. 

We fixed BBQ sandwiches, baked beans, and mac and cheese for dinner! We cleaned up and then this was my wine view. So NICE! 

We played cards out on the back deck! It was awesome. Eventually we all crashed. 

Monday, July 14th- 

We were up early and look what Ben and I went to get everyone for breakfast.

By 10am, you guessed it we were back out by the pool. 

After lunch, the kids, Colleen, Kelly, and Tommy got dressed and headed into Seaside to shop. While Ben and I curled up on the couch and napped! HA 

Love these 4. 

They got back, we went back to the pool, then we grilled hamburgers and hotdogs for dinner. 

Tuesday, July 15th- 

Breakfast, pool time, lunch, and then off to get ice cream around 2:15. 

Ben drove us on the golf cart and Ella drove the kids in Grammy's car.

Ice cream at the beach is just so much better. 

Ben cooked a low country boil for dinner. Then we took a group photo with the shirts that Kelly and Tommy made us.

Kathryn and Kelly helped her as well. 

Wednesday, July 16th-

Our last full day in Santa Rosa. Leigh Anne bought the boys these matching suits and we love them. 

Back to the beach in the morning! 

We got back and these 4 went kayaking.  

Later that evening, we got ready and headed to The Back Porch in Destin for dinner. 

Can you even go to The Back Porch and not get a bucket drink! HA 

We got home, played cards again, and crashed. 

Thursday, July 17th- 

My gang headed home around 8:30 and Ella and I headed to Miramar Beach to meet my mom, sister, niece, and Daniel. I will recap that beach trip tomorrow.
