Happy Tuesday Y'all! Well the day finally came.....college move in day. I have beed dreading this day for a long time. I am so excited for her but man I am already missing my sidekick.
I am recapping August 3rd-9th.
Ian to work, Ben to the office, and coffee and Jesus for me. Ella and I left the house around 10am to drop her car off to get serviced. We went to Ben's office and then we went to eat Mexican with a couple of his sales reps.
We hung out at the dealership for about an hour and her car was going to take probably another 2 hours so we left and decided to come back and pick it up on Tuesday. We did drop off 4 bags of clothes to Goodwill.
We got home, I set up my planner, worked on a blog post, put the clean sheets back on our bed, and got a call from Ben that he was going out for apps and drinks with a few co-workers. Ian ate leftovers when he got home, Ella went to cookout with a few friends to say their good byes, and I curled up on the couch.
Tuesday, August 4th-
Ian to work, Ben to the office, and coffee and Jesus for me. I enjoyed a slow morning, ran to Publix, and eventually went to pick up Ella's car.
Look who came with us...
We got home, chilled, and finally I started dinner. Spicy steak, dirty rice, and mac and cheese. I was making all of Ella's favorites.
Wednesday, August 5th-
Ian to work, Ben to the office, and coffee and Jesus for me. I took Trixie to the groomers. When I got home, I put on dog food to cook and got busy organizing all the dorm stuff.
I got that done, Ian got home from work, Kathryn and Tilly came to the house, and Ella eventually went to LB's to stay the night.
Thursday, August 6th-
Ian to work, Ben to the office, and coffee and Jesus for me. I went to my nail appointment at 11am. I ran by Kroger, got home, and blogged. By 5:30, this was me and Trixie....
We had leftovers for dinner and Ian and Kathryn went to Texas Roadhouse for dinner.
Friday, August 7th-
Ian to work, Ben to the office, and coffee and Jesus for me. I went to workout at Burn with LA at 8:30. We went to CFA for breakfast and then I went to Publix. Got home, cleaned house, and cleared the bar cart to get ready for Saturday night.
I made a frozen pizza for dinner for Ben and I. Ian went to Kathryn's and Ella went out with friends.
Saturday, August 8th-
Ian to work, Ben went to play golf, coffee and Jesus for me, and Ella slept in. I cleaned the upstairs and my craft room. I made the food that I was making for Saturday and got it in the fridge. Everyone started showing up around 4pm. We had a great time telling Ella goodbye.
The only pictures I got from Saturday was Ella with The Boswells.
Dixie, Keith, Ava, The Boswells, Keri, Sarah, Ashlynn, Turtle, Trice, Fab, Matt, Kayla, Wes, Karen, Chris, Colleen, Derek, Us, Stephanie, Addison, Conyer, and Stephanie. They all came to tell my girl goodbye. We love our people. Ella went to spend the night at Ava's house. Once everyone left, I cleaned up the kitchen and crashed.
Sunday, August 9th-
Ian to work, Ben went to play golf, and I tried to watch church online but got interrupted a few times so I gave up. Ben got home and we ended up going to lunch around 12. Then to Target to get her last minute stuff.
We got home and started packing her clothes, etc. I really wanted a coke zero so I ran to Quick Trip and Kroger for wine. Ian ended up going to Kathryn's and Ella met more friends to say good bye. She got home and we crashed.
I did add her monogram to her pill case for her Rush bag.
Ben's allergies were crazy so he took a Benadryl and crashed while I waited for Ella to get home.
