Hello Monday | Golf & Pups

Hello Monday! I am so thankful the kids do not have school today so we can recover from our little weekend getaway!

I hope you will grab our graphic and join us! Remember anything goes!!! But as usual, I am recapping our weekend.

Friday, I went to a Sprint class and a Flex class at the gym! Y'all I thought I was going to die! But it really did feel good afterward.
Once, I got home and could walk again. I did a clean sweep of the house and finished a few Etsy orders. That evening we went to eat Mexican with a few friends. Then we came home and CRASHED!

Saturday morning, we were up early to get ready for our little weekend getaway for Ian's golf tournament yesterday. The guys went down a little early for a practice round. While the girls dropped the pups off at the sitter's and took our time getting to our location.

We stopped in Madison to antique shop and enjoy lunch.

Look how cute is this little town...

As we were leisurely making our way to the hotel, Grandaddy was sending us these pictures of the boys enjoying their practice round

And Jana aka pet groomer and the sitter was sending me pictures of the pups!

Once we got down to Lake Oconee and the guys were finished with golf. We enjoyed an early dinner at The Pickle Barrel. Y'all it was SO good. It was so hard to choose what to get to eat. On our way back to the hotel, I captured this beautiful sunset over the lake.

We CRASHED that evening. I think I was asleep by 8:30. Yes, Ben made fun of me but I couldn't keep my eyes opened so I didn't even care! HA

Sunday morning, we were up early. Enjoyed a quick breakfast. Then headed to the golf course, so Ian could warm up and putt. We also enjoyed lunch at the club.

We also got a pup update....

He played at The Landing at Reynold's Plantation.

The views were AMAZING on the course.

I LOVE, LOVE, watching him watch Ian enjoy a sport that he is so passionate about.

In this tournament, Ian shot a 43 on 9 holes. He also hit a 300-yard drive. Which is REALLY GOOD. This course is HARD and hard for a lot of guys that have been playing for years so we were extremely proud of him.

After the tournament, we drove the hour back home, grabbed the pups, unpacked, started laundry, showered, and CRASHED! We had such a FUN weekend.
