Monthly Goals | July 2021

Happy July Friends!! In less than a month my kids will be back in school and that makes me so sad. We heart Summer so much!

But I don't even want to think about start back to school, so let me share my goals this month!

J U L Y goals...

Personal:

1. Figure out the best way to track my food. I know y'all have to be sick of hearing all about my fitness/nutrition journey but this little space does help keep me accountable. However, I do hope to use this space as a little more accountability.

2. Update the Home Improvement List. We have been working on the list but it's time to update it and see if I need to add and/or remove items.

3. Delete Pictures on Phone. Again this will forever be a task.

Family:

1. Celebrate 4th of July at the Lake. We have plans to go to the lake with The Boswell's for a long weekend.

2. Go on a Girls Trip. We have plans to go to Charleston with Leigh Anne and Bailey.

3. Go Scalloping with The Boswell's. EEK We are so excited to go to Steinhatchee this year.

4. Go Back to School Shopping. I can't even believe it's this time of year again.

5. Clean out the kids closets and drawers. We need to do this before back to school shopping.

My Glittery Heart:

1. Share our Summer Memories. I don't have a lot planned for the blog this month except sharing our recaps.

2. Plan Fall Content. Y'all know how much we love summer but Fall and Winter content is my favorite to plan and share.

Oh My Glitter:

1. Fill any Orders. It has been super slow this Summer and I'm Ok with it. We have a busy July planned and I intend to be fully present with my family.

I don't want to set a lot of goals this month because again I just want to be present with my family.

Now let's look at JUNE!

Personal:

✗1. Get back on Track with my Food and Fitness.  With a few vacations, I enjoyed a few to many treats and drinks so I am really excited to track my progress of my Health and Fitness Journey.  Make sure you check out my monthly Health and Wellness Journey.

2. Work on Home Improvement List. This one will probably always be a monthly goal. Our house was built in 2003, so it's time we start making some upgrades and repairs since we are planning on staying here until Ella graduates.

3. Delete Pictures on Phone. I have been working on this and gotten a good bit cleaned up but it still needs some work. I think this will be on my monthly goal list for a while. HA

4. Work out at least 2 more days in addition to my trainer. Y'all know I go to my trainer 3 days a week but I am terrible at being constant with working out the other 4 days.

✔5. Clean Out and Organize the Pantry- Holy Moly how can a pantry get so unorganized and messy so fast?? Since the kids are home for the summer, it will happen even faster so I need to get it under control now.

6. Clean Out the Fridge and Freezer- They are both a mess too so I need to clean them out and stock with goodies for the kids this summer.

7. Clean Out and Organize the Garage- Y'all I can't even with this space. Our cars barely fit in there.

Family:

1. Enjoy the BEACH. We had this trip planned last year but ya know #rona.

2. Work on Summer Bucket List. We have lots of fun planned for the summer.

3. Celebrate Father's Day. Y'all know how much we love Ben. We are so thankful for him. So celebrating him comes really easy!

4. Watch Ben and Ian play in The Men's Club Championship. It's a 3 day event but myself, Ella, and Grammy generally go up on Sunday afternoon to watch them come in.

5. Attend my Nephew's Wedding. I can't believe my youngest nephew, Cory, is getting married. I literally watched him come into this world. I was in the delivery room with my sister and brother in law.

My Glittery Heart:

1. Take a Blog Break. Sometimes you just need to step back for a little while and Summer seems to be the perfect time for that.

2. Share our Summer Bucket List. I only have a few summers left with both of the kids home and not working so I am going to learn to soak it up now.

3. Share the Red, White, and Blue Bar Cart. Y'all know how I feel about the beloved bar cart so I always love sharing it.

Oh My Glitter:

1. Finish getting inventory photographed and listed. I still haven't gotten everything photographed from Pinners. EEK!

2. Work on Email/Newsletter. When I attended Pinners I was able to collect a lot of email addresses. Then I started my own website but have since put that on hold, so I need to create a email list/newsletter via Mailchimp to actual use those email addresses to get sales.

I could say that I'm disappointed that I didn't accomplish a whole lot this month but I'm not...We had a great month and made lots of memories.
