Our Week with Ella's 16th Birthday, Wild Animal Safari, and Dollywood.

Hey Y'all! Happy Wednesday! I hope your week is off to a great start! Ella got her licenses yesterday and I am not OK. Like how did we get to this point???  It's going to feel so weird not driving kids around everywhere.

But for today, I am recapping last week which was our Fall Break.

Monday, October 9th-

Coffee and Jesus, Then I went into full on "get your stuff done" mode. I cleaned house, did all the laundry, updated my planner, meal planned, and typed a couple of blog post.

Later that evening, we drove to Grammy's to see her new car which is just like Ella's except a 2021 and grey!!

Ella drove us and as we were coming down 316 a Georgia sports team passed by and Ella had to part "like the red sea"

Grammy brought home Mexican, we ate dinner, looked at her new car, and headed home.

Tuesday, October 10th- Ella's 16th Birthday.

Coffee, Jesus, Got ready and Ella and I headed to meet Ben to drop off her car at the dealership to have 2 things fixed. Well that was a mess and Ben had to end up resigning all the paperwork because the initial interest rate wasn't approved.

But looked who surprised his sister and came home for her birthday...

We finally left the dealership and took Ella to her favorite Mexican restaurant for lunch, stopped by Ben's office, then home for 2 of Ella's friends to come over for the night. For dinner, we went to Ninja for dinner with us, Ian, Kathryn, Leigh Anne, Catherine, and Aubrey! Such a fun night!

The kids went to Menchie's didn't like anything so they headed home while Ben and I were already home.

Wednesday, October 11th-

Coffee, Jesus, and enjoyed a slow morning before heading to lunch with my mom, my sister, niece, niece in law, Daniel, and Easton. We enjoyed our time with them so much. Ian and Kathryn headed to LaGrange.

When we got home, we chilled, I cooked a frozen pizza for dinner, showered, and bed.

Thursday, October 12th-

Ella and I were up bright and early to head to LaGrange to have lunch with Ian, Kathryn, Bailey, and Matt. Then the girls went to the Wild Animal Safari in Pine Mountain. We had a BLAST. The pictures will do all the talking.

We picked up Ella's car on the way home and finally made it home to eat, pack, and crash.

Friday, October 13th-

We were up super early and on the road a little after 6AM to pick up Addison and Laney Brooke to head to Dollywood.

We had the best time.

We went to the house we rented, unloaded, and got ready to head to dinner at The Park Grill. After dinner we headed to ride go carts.

Once we got back to the house, showered, and ready for bed- NO ONE could sleep, the house was hot, beds were uncomfortable, and it was way to quiet! HA

I finally moved to the couch around 2AM and got a few hours of sleep.

Saturday, October 14th-

Ben and I let the girls sleep in a little while him and I went to The Apple Barn for breakfast. We got back to pick up the girls up and headed to Dick's Last Resort for lunch and football watching.

How they refilled LB's drink! HA

While we were watching football, the girls walked around and eventually ended up jumping.

We went back to Dollywood around 2:30. Left around 7:30, grabbed McDonald's, packed up our stuff and headed home. We didn't want to spend another night in that house. We dropped the girls off and got home around 12:45AM, unloaded the car, showered, and CRASHED!

I did snap this picture of some of the lights. They were all amazing.

Sunday, October 15th-

We slept in til about 9AM. We enjoyed a slow morning, Ben headed to play golf, Grammy brought the pups a treat while her and Ella then ran a few errands and I did all the things... laundry, planner, blog pictures, blog post, order groceries, made Chicken tortilla soup,  put out the trash, and CRASHED!
