Hey Hey Y'all! Happy Friday! Sunday is National Homemade Soup Day! I am sharing my Vegetable Soup Recipe. Ben says it is one of his favorite soups that I make so I thought it deserved a spot here on the blog.

Ingredients:

1 pound of ground beef
1 bag of frozen Vegetable soup mix ( I use Publix brand)
32 oz Kettle and Fire bone broth, classic beef
1 can of tomato sauce
1 can of diced tomatoes
2 small potatoes (chopped)
1 small onion (chopped)
( I added extra potatoes and onion to the frozen mix)
1 teaspoon of dried parsley
1/2 teaspoon of dried basil
1 tablespoon of course ground pepper
1 teaspoon of salt
3 tablespoons of Worcestershire sauce
4 tablespoons of Tabasco hot sauce.
I measure the worcestershire sauce and hot sauce with my heart 😉

Directions:

Brown the ground beef
Then add all the ingredients to a crock pot and cook on slow for 6 hours or add to a cast iron pot and bring to a boil, cover and reduce heat to medium and simmer for 30-40 minutes until frozen veggies and potatoes are cooked through.

It is delicious! It pairs nicely with cornbread!

Other Soups...

I need to update my taco soup recipe because I make it a little different now.
