Thoughts for Thursday {Kids Lunches}

Happy Thursday Friends!
Sorry I missed a post yesterday but Tuesday kicked my booty!! I started the day taking Ian and Ella to the doctor's office, trying to catch up house work from being on vacation, and then staying up to watch the election.....whew! So onto today's post!

I feel like I have finally gotten into a lunch packing "groove"

A few months ago, one of my best blogger buddies Justine posted about packing her girls lunches and shared these AMAZING lunch boxes

Ian likes for me to pack his lunch EVERY day! He is also my child that likes basically the same thing every day. He likes his routine! He knows the drill M-F and on the weekends he will ask first thing in the morning our schedule that day! However, he is the child that will eat just about anything! Just not in his lunchbox! HA

So his lunches look like this:

Soft taco, pickles, and Fritos
For his taco, I just put ground beef with taco seasoning and shredded cheese and rolled it up like a burrito!
Most days he prefers....turkey and cheese k-bobs with chips and a fruit!
He switched it up one day with ham instead of turkey and pickles instead of a fruit!  ;)

He also loves Pepperonis, cheese, & crackers with fruit and chips!

He informed me that he needs 2 Hawaiian rolls and 2 capri suns each day! Holy Moly, we will not be able to afford his grocery bill soon! HA

I had a conference with Ian's teachers on Monday and they told me how much they love his lunchbox "presentation" HAHA

Ella is a different story! She is a VERY picky eater and if I can get her to get one full meal a day I fill like I am doing good!

Ham and cheese k-bobs with corn and grapes!

The next day she informed me that she didn't like that cheese! HA

I am always looking for new lunch ideas! What are some things you pack in your kids lunches!
Ella loves the pizza lunchables but I can't figure out how to make them "homemade" any suggestions??

Looking forward to hearing from you guys!

xoxo, Heather
