Our Weekend with all the Birthday Celebrations

Happy Thursday Friends, Happy Friday Eve!!! We have had a low key Fall Break so far and it has been exactly what we needed!

I didn't get a recap of our weekend up on Monday because we hosted 2 birthday celebrations at our house this past weekend so when Sunday evening rolled around I was EXHAUSTED!!

Let me recap this past weekend now...

Friday the kids were out of school for their first official day of Fall Break. We spent the day cleaning house and setting up for the birthday celebrations but not before...

4 Reasons Why Adulting is Harder than I Thought it Would Be...

Hi Friends! Happy Thursday! When I pick the kids up today from school, we are officially on FALL BREAK for 10 DAYS! We are just so excited!

Today I have a sponsored guest post by Alex Berger.

Adulting really is HARD sometimes. The struggle is REAL. Here are 4 reasons why...

15 Years of Marriage...

On this day 15 years ago, I became a wife. It was one of the BEST days of my life. To celebrate 15 years, I am going to share 15 memorable happy moments of our marriage.

Red, White, and Blue Fun!

We started celebrating all the red, white, and blue festivities on July 3rd. We met Talia and the boys at the pool for a day of fun in the sun!

Poor Ella was stuck with all the boys AGAIN! HA

After playing in the pool for a few hours, we took the kids to Mayfield for ice cream before heading to The Yacht Club for fireworks.

We got to The Yacht Club around 6:00 for a yummy BBQ dinner.

Then the boys played horseshoes.

Looking for all the fish.

Love this sweet hubby of mine.

My whole heart.

Friends since middle school.

Talia and all her boys!!

Love these PEOPLE!

Friends for 27 years! I would truly be lost without her friendship.

After playing around for a little while, we settled into our seats to get ready for the fireworks.

Ella made sure she was comfortable to watch the fireworks!

Jesse loves his mama!

The babies of the bunch!

It was an AMAZING firework show!

We got home late from fireworks and fell fast asleep!

July 4th, we were up early and headed to Grammy and Granddaddy's for the day. We went swimming for a while, then grilled burgers late afternoon.

Ian loves to take the pups on a "ride" around Grammy's apartment.

I made a funfetti cake. It was so GOOD!

We got home around 6:00 and crashed on the couch. This is what Trixie thought about her exhausting day. I was glad both pups got a nap because they were both shaking like leaves till around 11:00pm when the fireworks finally stopped!

How did you celebrate the 4th of July?? I hope it was with lots of family and friends.

Christmas 2017

Happy Thursday friends. I know I normally do not post on Thursday's anymore but I wanted to go ahead and get my Christmas recap up on the blog since I took some much needed time off last week.

I will go ahead and let you know that it is going to be picture overload because I am recapping several of our Christmas festivities in one post.

The kids got out of school for Christmas break on Wednesday, December 20th. Ella's class had a fun class party. They even got to wear their jammies if they wanted to.

They put on a Christmas play.

Bulldawg Bash

We have hosted our annual "Bulldawg Bash" for the first Georgia Football game of the season for 8 years! We create some of the best memories that will last a lifetime. We hosted our annual Bulldawg Bash this past Saturday.

This and That!

Happy Thursday! I know I mentioned before that I was not going to post on a Thursday but since I didn't get a post up on Tuesday and I am joining a different link up tomorrow I thought I would share a little bit of life lately this week!!

Happy Birthday Ben!!

Happy Birthday to my sweet hubby! Today he turns 38 years old~ I shared 37 things about me on my birthday back in January, so I thought it would be fun to share 38 things about Ben.  Well my opinion of him anyway!

Happy Thursday Friends! The kids went back to school yesterday! I missed them terribly, but I did get a lot accomplished! I have been so busy cleaning and organizing that the day flew by!

I am finally getting around to recapping our wild and crazy New Year's Eve Night!! Y'all we were CRAZY!! Ha just kidding!
We had some of our really good friends The Boswell's over for dinner! Ben's parents and his brother stopped by for a little bit but they didn't hang till midnight!!

We started our evening with a few girl photos in the photo booth! The boys were not having!!
LeighAnne and I struggled with the props! ;)
Ella kept telling LeighAnne to move her glasses and we thought she was crazy!
Now we understand what she was talking about! HA

It was heavenly!
Ladies first! ;)

We usually have a Christmas dinner with The Boswell's but this year our schedules just didn't match up, so we exchanged presents at NYE!
