What We're Reading Wednesday {June}

Hello Book Nerds... I say that with lots of LOVE! I love reading and I hope and pray one of my children pick up my love of reading!!
It's time for the June edition of What We're Reading Wednesday.
I hope you will join us and share what you, your spouse, your kiddos, or whoever have read lately!!

I have 3 books to share with you this month!

Again, most books that I read are not for the faint of heart.....

First up was Made for You by Kelly Elliott

Here is the decription from Amazon

One decision.

Two lives ripped apart.

For Holden Warner and Emylie Sanchez, the road back to each other has been long and jagged. Each of them hiding from the truth, but unwilling to move on from the love they share.

When life no longer allows them to run from their past, they soon realize they’re two souls who will never fit anywhere except … with each other.

MADE FOR YOU is a stand-alone novel.

My Thoughts: It was a good book, but it wasn't one of my favorite books from Kelly. I think it could have been a lot shorter. A lot of unnecessary heartache....Yes, I realize its a book! HA

Next up was Only with Me by Kelly Elliott.

You need to read Stay with Me first....

Here is the description from Amazon

Life was great.

I loved my bachelor life and working my dream job with the Colorado Springs SWAT team.

That all changed the day I stepped into her bakery. Her smile swept me off my feet, and her panna cotta was heaven.

Cue my very traditional Greek family.

Then all hell broke loose.

The woman I was falling in love with was Italian, and my mother was hell-bent on proving to the world she was the better cook.

If my meddling family wasn’t bad enough, for the last six years Gabi had been on the run from a past she tried desperately to escape from.

Between a beautiful woman on the run, and a crazy family constantly in my business, would I be able to show her I’m the only one who can keep her safe … or will her past steal her away from me?

My Thoughts: This is a MUST READ! I loved this book. I found myself laughing out loud. I love how it brings 2 totally different people from 2 totally different backgrounds together.
You will seriously love this one.

Last but certainly NOT least.......

Here is the description from the author's website

Baseball has never been sexier in an all-new novel by New York Times Bestselling Author, K. Bromberg.
Easton Wylder is baseball royalty. The game is his life. His passion. His everything.
So, when an injury threatens to end Easton’s season early, the team calls in renowned physical therapist, Doc Dalton, to oversee his recovery. Except it’s not Doc who greets Easton for his first session, but rather, his daughter, Scout. She may be feisty, athletic, defiant, and gorgeous, but Easton is left questioning whether she has what it takes to help him.
Scout Dalton’s out to prove a female can handle the pressure of running the physical therapy regimen of an MLB club. And that proof comes in the form of getting phenom Easton Wylder back on the field. But getting him healthy means being hands-on.
And with a man as irresistible as Easton, being hands-on can only lead to one thing, trouble. Because the more she touches him, the more she wants him, and she can’t want him. Not when it’s her job to maintain the club’s best interest, in regards to whether he’s ready to play.
But when sparks fly and fine lines are crossed, can they withstand the heat, or is one of them bound to get burned?

My Thoughts: If you LOVE baseball read this book.....but holy cliffhanger....This was another book I found myself laughing out loud too! I read it while we were at the beach laugh week and my mother in law was like what are you laughing at...and then she would realize that I was reading! I love Easton's passion for baseball, but his passion for Scout is just steamy!
