Happy Tuesday Friends! I hope your week is off to a great start! It's the last Tuesday of the month so I am sharing my monthly book review! If you're new around here. I read a mixture of daily devotionals, personal development books, and romance. Usually my romance is a little on the R side. 😉

My Favorite Reads
Wednesday, February 13, 2019
Happy Wednesday! I am sharing a few of my FAVORITE reads with y'all today!
It is no secret that I love my quiet time in the morning and I sit in this spot in my house. Over time, the spot has changed a good bit but overall it always has my FAVORITE things: books, blankets, and coffee.
During my quiet time, I read a devotional along with a personal development type book. Here is a stack of my all time FAVORITES

I am known for reading "smut" books and this month was no different. I always tell myself that I am going to read something more educational, but truth be told reading romance novels is my #guiltypleasure. Here is what I was able to read this month.

Hello Friends!!
Hope your having a great week!!
Anyone who knows me knows that I am a total book nerd! Well I guess I should say Kindle nerd!! I can't live without my Kindle!! So I thought I would share some of the books that I have read this Summer!! I love a good romance novel!! But my romance novels are not usually for the faint at heart ;)
My Favorite Authors are Kelly Elliot, Kristen Proby, and I have quickly fallen in love with Marie Force!!
First up.....
First up.....
Searching for Harmony By Kelly Elliot
I loved this book! I was in tears the first chapter! I could not put it down!!
Here is the description from Kelly's website!!
From New York Times bestselling author Kelly Elliott comes the gut-wrenching story of a love that transcends all odds—and transforms the deepest pain into the brightest hope.
Firefighter and first responder Preston Ward thought he had grown immune to the job’s emotional burns. But when he goes out on a particularly tragic call, he realizes that some scenes are too devastating to forget. And yet, if it weren’t for that terrible night, he never would have met the woman who makes him want to risk his heart.
More than once, Harmony Banks has watched her perfectly ordered world torn apart by fate. Now she’s finding out that what she lost wasn’t as perfect as she thought—and it’s tearing her apart. The only thing that keeps her going is the kindness of a stranger: the firefighter who saved her life the night everything changed.
Preston isn’t like the men who have come before. For one thing, he’s far more genuine. And the love Harmony feels growing between them is almost too intense for her wounded soul. But if she and Preston can push past heartbreak, they’ll find that something incredible awaits in each other’s arms.
Treading Water By Marie Force
This book pulled at my heartstrings...But it was fantastic! I had a hard time getting anything else done!!
Here is the description from Marie's Website!
Love is the last thing on Jack Harrington’s mind when he sets out to meet Andi Walsh’s flight. Recently back to work after spending more than a year tending to his comatose wife, Jack is focused on getting through each day and caring for his three daughters. However, the moment he sets eyes on Andrea Walsh, the interior designer who has come to decorate the hotel his company is building in Newport, Rhode Island, Jack begins to wonder if Andi might be his second chance. After a disastrous marriage, Andi, single mom to a hearing-impaired son, isn’t exactly looking for love, either, but that’s what she finds with Jack. The two embark on a long-distance relationship fraught with challenges as they balance the needs of their children and dueling careers while Jack continues to care for his wife, Clare. Just when Jack thinks his life is once again settled, he is confronted with a new challenge that tests him in ways he never could’ve imagined, leaving him to wonder if “happily ever after” is in the cards for him.
Grab your tissues!!
The first series I read by Marie Force was The Gansett Island Series! It was FABULOUS!!
Close to you by Kristen Proby!!
Oh this is a GREAT one but you MUST read 'Listen to Me" first! This a fun, flirty, sexy series!!
Here is the description from Amazon!!
Camilla “Cami” LaRue was five years old when she first fell in love with Landon Palazzo. Everyone told her the puppy love would fade—they clearly never met Landon. When he left after graduation without a backward glance, she was heartbroken. But Cami grew up, moved on, and became part owner of the wildly popular restaurant Seduction. Now she has everything she could want . . . or so she thinks.
After spending the last twelve years as a Navy fighter pilot, Landon returns to Portland to take over the family construction business. When he catches a glimpse of little Cami LaRue, he realizes she’s not so little anymore. He always had a soft spot for his little sister’s best friend, but nothing is soft now when he’s around the gorgeous restaurateur.
Landon isn’t going to pass up the chance to make the girl next door his. She’s never been one for romance, but he’s just the one to change her mind. Will Seduction be just the name of her restaurant, or will Cami let him get close enough to fulfill all her fantasies?
Yesterday in carpool line, I started Ravenous by Marie Force! It is the 5th book in The Quantum Series! Oh my hotness! If you read 50 Shades, then this series is a MUST for you!!
Here is the description from Marie's Website!
She wants a baby. He wants her. Simple enough, right?
Ellie Godfrey has kissed her share of frogs. So many, in fact, that she fears she won’t recognize her prince if and when he finally comes along. Tired of waiting for THE ONE, Ellie decides to have a baby on her own before it’s too late.
When Jasper Autry hears about Ellie’s plan, what else can he do but step in and offer to “contribute” to her project. Does that make him an opportunist? Whatever. He wants the perpetually out-of-reach Ellie Godfrey, and when he sees his chance, he takes it. That she’s the sister of his business partner and close friend Flynn gives him pause, but it doesn’t stop him from having what he wants.
As Jasper and Ellie embark upon their secret “project,” he makes it clear that for as long as they’re together, he’s in charge—in the bedroom anyway. After the hottest sex of her life, Ellie realizes she’s made a deal with the devil himself.
Warning: If you hate foul-mouthed heroes who like it a little rough and dirty, this might not be the book for you…Contains hot and sexy BDSM scenes among other things that might not appeal to the faint of heart. Enter at your own risk and enjoy!
I found my self reading this book as I was pumping gas yesterday!! I will probably be finished by this weekend! HA
Are you a book nerd??
Who are your favorite authors?? What type of books do you enjoy reading??
Can't wait to find a few new FAVORITE books!!
xoxo, Heather
