Chocolate Chip Banana Nut Bread

I got a bread machine last year and I love it. But I only seem to make bread in it during the cooler months. I'm not sure why that happened. I guess I associate "baking" with Fall and Winter. Who knows... So today I am going to share a Chocolate Chip Banana Nut Bread recipe that I make in my bread machine. My co-host posted their favorite recipes yesterday but since it was my anniversary I had a special post up instead! If you are like me and just getting a recipe post up today or have one you would love to share, link up below!

Ingredients:
1/2 cup of butter, softened
2/3 cup of milk
2 eggs
2.5 cups of all-purpose flour
1 cup sugar
2.5 teaspoons of baking powder
1/2 of a teaspoon of baking soda
1 teaspoon of salt
2/3 cup of mashed bananas
1/2 cup of chopped walnuts and chocolate chips combined

place the ingredients in your bread machine in the order they are listed. EXCEPT for the walnuts and chocolate chips.

My bread machine had a spot for the nuts/chocolate on the top and will add these ingredients at the correct time.

I set my bread machine on the "rapid" setting for light crust and 1.5lbs

After a few minutes, it has started mixing I scrap the sides to make sure it gets it all mixed really well.

Then I let the machine do the rest. It beeps when it is finished.
I take the pan out of the oven, place it on a cooling rack.

Finally, ENJOY!

*When I made this loaf, I left the crust setting on medium. It definitely needs to be on light crust

If you try it let me know!!! It will make your house smell heavenly.
