Today I am sharing part DOS of our AMAZING Mexico trip! If you missed part UNO, check it out here!
Mexico
Started off with yet again, omelets and mimosas by the ocean because when in Mexico, right?!?
I went to enjoy the spa again and Ben headed back to the golf course! We laid low for most of the day! I hung by the pool till Ben got back. Then we headed back to our room to chill before dinner! We face timed the kids every day but I thought it was too funny when she showed me her fingernails that Grammy had bought her from Target! 😂 We really do love glitter in our house!
Sunday night for dinner we went to Mexican. Y'all the guacamole was to die for! I could have eaten it by the spoonful. Then for my main course, I ordered a filet! Oh my stars, it was delicious!
Later that night at the cigar bar was Hookah night. I had NO idea what a hookah was...but my sweet Linda sure did.....It's basically like a big vaporizer! I took no part of it!

{DAY 5} Monday, November 6th
Breakfast again started with omelets and mimosas! I know you are SHOCKED! We hung by the pool for our last full day of paradise! Paige is one of Ben's sales reps and she calls us her Atlanta parents. Yes, it makes me feel old but I just love Paige so I forgive her.! ;)
Since we could almost be Paige's parents we went to our room around 2:30 and took NAPS! but not before I finished my wine in BED! Since this is a no judgment zone, I am posting this HORRIBLE picture of me because it sure was a glorious way to spend a Monday afternoon! Yes, that was the hotel robe and it was made from sweatshirt material and YES it came home with me!!
Monday night, we had another big group dinner! It was Italian by the pool and it was pure heaven!

Our last night in paradise! I think we were secretly missing the good ole U.S. of A because we were dressed in patriotic colors!
{DAY 6} Tuesday, November 7th
Our last breakfast of omelets and mimosas by the ocean. Our travel day started around 12. We had to be checked out of our rooms by then. A shuttle picked us up at the resort at 12:15. Our flight home left Cancun at 4:15 and we arrived in Atlanta at 7:25. We FINALLY made it home around 9:30pm. Such a long day but oh so worth the trip!! I did capture this BEAUTIFUL sunset flying home.
