Presidents Trip | Naples 2021

Hey Y'all! Happy Wednesday. How is your week going so far? I have been in full Holiday Market prep. If the dogs have glitter on them! 😂😂

But today I am taking a moment to recap our trip to Naples, FL last week for Ben's Annual Presidents Trip.

President's Trip 2020 | Naples, FL

Happy Wednesday Friends!  I hope everyone is having a great week so far. I am sharing our time away with Ben's company for his President's Trip in beautiful Naples, FL. The owner of the company knew that a lot of people different feel comfortable with leaving the country right now but still wanted to reward the sales reps that made the trip with a trip. He always gave everyone the option to fly or drive. Ben and I chose to drive. 

Tuesday, November 3rd- 

Ben's mom got to our house Monday evening because she was staying with the kids while we were gone. So Tuesday morning, we left around 4:30 am to head to Tampa, FL. We decided to break up the trip on the way down. We arrived at The Hard Rock Hotel and Casino right at noon. 3 other couples going on the trip stayed at the same hotel. 

When we arrived at the hotel we checked in, put our stuff in the room, and went to the pool bar for lunch. Soon after the other couples arrived and we spent the afternoon at the pool. 

Mask were required inside of the hotel but you were free to take them off outside. 

One Happy Island

If you are a long time reader than you know that Ben and I go on his President's Trip every November with his company. He is in sales so if his team hits their number than Ben makes the trip! We look forward to this little get away every year!

So last Wednesday, we left for the airport around 6am. Grammy and Granddaddy came to hold down the fort.

Oh Ship, It's a President's Trip | Days 1-4

Happy Tuesday Friends! I hope your week is off to a great start. It's rough getting back into the swing of things after a holiday! But hey, we only have 3 more weeks until we are out for 2.5 weeks. YIPEE!

I mentioned before and you might have followed along on IG. while Ben and I were away for an 8 day/7 night cruise for his President's Trip for work. It's a trip that he earns every year and I am so proud of him for it.

Today I am finally getting around to recapping Days 1-4 of our trip.

Mexico Part UNO

Hola! We have been back from Mexico for a week now and I finally feel like I am back in the grove... why does 6 days out of reality totally mess me up?? Or is it just me?? I mean for 6 days I had people bring me food, drinks, make my bed, do my laundry, turn down my bed, you get the point! It was glorious! oh so glorious! Ben is in sales and every year their incentive is to sell x amount and if you do then you earn President's Trip. In the 14 years that Ben has worked for the company, he has only missed 2 trips! That is pretty impressive if you ask me. ;)

Let me share with you days 1-3 of our trip today.

Mexico

Hello Monday

Hello Monday!! 

I hope you guys had an awesome weekend!! We sure did! Ben and I got home yesterday afternoon from MEXICO!! and man reality is rough! HA Just kidding...We are SO thankful to be home and with the kiddos!

I'm going to share the first part of our Mexico trip with y'all! It was a BLAST!!! 

Every year in November, we go on President's Trip with Ben's company! The trip is always some where tropical! This year CANCUN! 

We flew out Tuesday morning!! 

Wanda and I started our trip with a Mimosa! 

Watch out Mexico.....we are coming for you!! 

We arrived to Secrets Resort around 2 that afternoon!

We had a scheduled dinner on Tuesday night! Ben is severely allergic to cats and I swear they always find him! HA

Our first day in Mexico was pretty awesome! 

Wednesday morning we went down to breakfast then walked around the resort! It was BEAUTIFUL! 

I could lay there ALL day! 

We had lunch at one of these tables in the water!!

It was REALLY windy Wednesday morning, but it didn't take away from the beauty!

We spent the rest of Wednesday afternoon here!! 

I Facetimed the kids sitting on the back porch and this little guy wondered up!! I found out later they are called 'coati'  They look like a mix between a raccoon and a monkey! 

Bryan, the President of the company, always takes us to do one excursion as a group! This year he rented a catamaran. Here we are about to set sail on Thursday!

We made a stop to snorkel! Ben loves snorkeling. I HATE it! I like my oxygen freely flowing around my face! HA

Our next stop was on an island for lunch! After lunch you could enjoy the beach, lounge chairs, paddle boards, etc!

Thursday evening we met a few other couples in the lobby bar before dinner~ 

We toasted Steve and Wanda because Steve is retiring in the spring:)
