Hey Y'all! Happy Monday!! Today I am recapping our week in Dubrovnik, Croatia for Ben's President's Trip.
Monday, April 13th-
Ben and I arrived in Amsterdam at 7:45am (1:45am home time) while Ian went to work and Ella went to school. We left Amsterdam at 10:15 and arrived in Croatia at 12:35pm. Guess what, we made it to Croatia but our luggage didn't! UGH! The flight from Atlanta to Amsterdam was just under 9 hours. The flight from Amsterdam to Croatia was a little over 2 hours.

We finally made it the
resort again with no luggage. It was BEAUTIFUL!
We got drinks and made the most of it!

We had a welcome dinner that we went to all stinky in airport clothes that I believe we had been wearing the same clothes for over 24 hours?? somewhere in that ball park! HA
I don't think we even knew what day it was at this point! Ha
We finally went to bed and I showered and slept in a robe. 😐

Tuesday, April 14th-
We finally got our luggage around 7:30am and I took the BEST SHOWER EVER! Ben and I went to breakfast. We got back to the room and actually crashed. We were exhausted. We got up and went to lunch.
Before lunch, we walked around the resort.
Lunch was amazing!

We spent most of the day just chilling and hanging out at the resort.
We went to dinner at Cilantro at the Resort.
After dinner we went to the lobby bar and hung out with all the people! We finally crashed but I did get another Ella and Trixie picture!!
Wednesday, April 15th-
Ben and I went to breakfast and then had to meet in the lobby at 9:45 for our food and wine tour.
Croatia loves all the stairs.

I loved all the side alleys and restaurants.
We got Gelato on our tour!
46 Catholic churches within the City Walls.
Our last stop on the tour was a wine bar in a cave.
The wine cellar was in the ground. SO COOL!
After our food and wine tour, we walked the city walls with Josh and Carly.
This just looks so fake to me.
Along the city walls, there were several restaurants/bars so we stopped for a couple of drinks.
We made our way back to the main street and look what I saw a PUG!
Do these stairs look familiar to any Game of Throne fans?? I didn't watch it but Ben did.
We found friends at an Irish Pup. Had a few drinks and NACHOS!
We went to a cafe and as other Flex people walked by they joined us.
To go to the bathroom at this cafe, you pass a money that wants you to take a selfie with it. Of course, we had to do it!
HA!
We left the City Wall and headed back to the resort! The City Walls all lite up at night!
We got back to the resort and CRASHED!
Thursday, April 16th-
Ben and I headed to breakfast. Then we went back to the room and put on our bathing suits and headed to the pool for the day!
Later that day, we got this picture from Ella that she picked up her cap and gown 😭
Thursday evening, we had regional dinners. Flex East went to eat at a restaurant up on the mountain. I started off with an espresso martini.
I got this picture from Mrs. Bresson. Ella's elementary principal because she saw her at her golf match.
After dinner, we ended up back at the lobby bar!
Friday, April 17th-
Ben and I headed to breakfast and then Flex East went out on charter boats. It was so beautiful but the water was ICE COLD.
Carly and Fabiola jumped in because they are CRAZY!
I put my feet in the Adriatic Sea. They went numb really quick.
The sane people who just sat on the back of the boat.
We made a stop at another island and got a drink!
We got back to the resort, ate lunch, and then chilled before heading to the farewell dinner. Did I mention it was in a CASTLE!

Saturday, April 18th-
We got up and got ready, ate breakfast, finished packing, and left the resort 10:45 Croatia time which was 4:45am at home.
We landed in Atlanta at 8:30pm EST. But didn't get home until almost 11:30PM. IT WAS A LONG TRAVEL DAY!!!!
But man what an amazing trip!
