Mexico Part UNO

Hola! We have been back from Mexico for a week now and I finally feel like I am back in the grove... why does 6 days out of reality totally mess me up?? Or is it just me?? I mean for 6 days I had people bring me food, drinks, make my bed, do my laundry, turn down my bed, you get the point! It was glorious! oh so glorious! Ben is in sales and every year their incentive is to sell x amount and if you do then you earn President's Trip. In the 14 years that Ben has worked for the company, he has only missed 2 trips! That is pretty impressive if you ask me. ;)

Let me share with you days 1-3 of our trip today.

Tuesday Talk-Mexico {Part Dos}

Happy Tuesday Friends!! 
Hope your week is off to a GREAT start! I do have to say that the Monday after a trip to Mexico is ROUGH! Ben's car battery was dead, the dog got sick, piles of laundry, both kids are feeling yucky...you get my point!!
But let's talk about the second part of our AMAZING TRIP!!

I forgot to share this pictures yesterday that a photographer took on the catamaran!!





We felt so goofy taking these pictures, but I think they turned out pretty cute!! 


Friday morning, it rained for a little bit! So we headed back to the room, chilled out, and ordered room service!! Wanda and Steve joined us! With our room service we ordered a few mixed drinks for the men and Wanda and I shared a bottle of wine!! It was such a rough way to spend an afternoon!! HA
Once the rain stopped, we got in our little swim out pool and look who wanted to join in on the fun!!




I gave Ben a few packs of crackers and they were so EXCITED!

Friday night, we had another scheduled dinner and I didn't take one picture :( 

Saturday we woke up to spend our last day in Paradise! 
We enjoyed a yummy buffet breakfast!! I'm pretty sure I gained 20 lbs this trip! ;)
I finished my book and enjoyed a cocktail! 
I chatted and hung out with 2 of my favs! 

We enjoyed a delicious Japanese dinner~  
When in Mexico you must still support your DAWGS!! You just stream it on your phone! HA 

Bryan(President of the Company) and myself! 
Twinsies! Rory and I both wore Navy Blue dresses!! HA 

Sunday morning we headed to the airport!!

I could listen to her speak Spanish all the time and she wants her babies to have my Southern accent!! hehe

We were sad that our AMAZING trip was over, but couldn't wait to see our babies! 
and I started this on the plane ride home....I'm only half way in and I love Chip and Jo even more:) 

So thankful for Ben and his hard work and dedication to ensure that we go on these trips every year!!

Hello Monday

Hello Monday!! 
I hope you guys had an awesome weekend!! We sure did! Ben and I got home yesterday afternoon from MEXICO!! and man reality is rough! HA Just kidding...We are SO thankful to be home and with the kiddos!

I'm going to share the first part of our Mexico trip with y'all! It was a BLAST!!! 

Every year in November, we go on President's Trip with Ben's company! The trip is always some where tropical! This year CANCUN! 

We flew out Tuesday morning!! 
Wanda and I started our trip with a Mimosa! 
Watch out Mexico.....we are coming for you!! 

We arrived to Secrets Resort around 2 that afternoon! 
We checked into our room

We had a scheduled dinner on Tuesday night! Ben is severely allergic to cats and I swear they always find him! HA

Our first day in Mexico was pretty awesome! 

Wednesday morning we went down to breakfast then walked around the resort! It was BEAUTIFUL! 
I could lay there ALL day! 
We had lunch at one of these tables in the water!!

This was one of the pools headed to the beach! 
It was REALLY windy Wednesday morning, but it didn't take away from the beauty!

We spent the rest of Wednesday afternoon here!! 
I Facetimed the kids sitting on the back porch and this little guy wondered up!! I found out later they are called 'coati'  They look like a mix between a raccoon and a monkey! 

Bryan, the President of the company, always takes us to do one excursion as a group! This year he rented a catamaran. Here we are about to set sail on Thursday!

We made a stop to snorkel! Ben loves snorkeling. I HATE it! I like my oxygen freely flowing around my face! HA

Our next stop was on an island for lunch! After lunch you could enjoy the beach, lounge chairs, paddle boards, etc!

Right when you got off the boat you could have your picture made with this shark! No thank you....I'll just take his picture from the shore!!

Thursday evening we met a few other couples in the lobby bar before dinner~ 
We toasted Steve and Wanda because Steve is retiring in the spring:) 
Love this man so much!! 

I'll be back tomorrow for the second part of our trip!!
