Monthly Goals | October 2020

New Month, New Goals! But y’all I can’t believe it is already OCTOBER. Crazy how fast this CRAZY year is going by.

But let me share my GOALS!

Let's get started with O C T O B E R Goals...

1. Track Everything and Be Mindful What I Eat. I rejoined WW and I need to be strict about it again.

2. Continue Deleting Photos and Videos from my Phone. My phone has over 4,000 pictures on it. Y'all this is a CHORE!

3. Take 2. Plan or Host a Wine Tasting Night. Y'all Ben and I loved going to wine tastings at our local liquor store and then 'Rona hit and they had to stop them. I found the CUTEST Wine Tasting Kit in the Target HotSpot and it would be such a fun night.

4. Have Lunch/Dinner with a Friend. It is so IMPORTANT to have some girl time and I can't wait to do that.

5. Drop off Gifties at Friend's Houses. Who wouldn't love to come home to a sweet little gift on their front porch!

1. Celebrate Ella turning 13. Y'all I'm struggling with her turning a TEENAGER.

2.  Host a Football Party OUTSIDE. I would love to have people over for the Georgia/Alabama game and set everything up outside.

3. Celebrate Halloween. Because we are NOT cancelling Halloween around here.

4. Host Ben's Team for a Dinner. Ben's team sold over their yearly sales number so they deserve to be celebrated.

5. Have Family Pictures Taken. Y'all know I do this every year and this year is no different.

My Glittery Heart:

1. Share a Ella's 13th Birthday Celebration. Y'all she has planned this party all by herself.

2. Share Target Haul. I got several new sweaters last week at Target and I think y'all will love them.

3. Hot Chocolate Cart. I have a new idea for a Hot Cocoa cart this year and I can't wait to see it come to life.

4. Share a Fall Recipe. I have been trying to introduce new recipes into our routine of dinners so I hope to find a new Fall recipe.

5. Share post on Pinterest. Old & New Post. Pinterest drives a lot of my traffic so I always make sure to share post there.

6. Share the Halloween Bar Cart. Y'all know how much I love the bar cart and it's so much fun to decorate.

Oh My Glitter:

1. Create at least 2 new Christmas design wine glasses. I have a few ideas brewing in my head so it will be fun to get them on an actual glass.

2. Share Listing on Pinterest. Pinterest drives a lot of my traffic so I always make sure to share post there.

3. Decide on/or Plan a Sip & Shop event this year. With everything going on I don't know if I will host one this year or not.

4.  Decide on Black Friday and Small Business Saturday Sale. It's never too early to start deciding and creating for this sale.

1. Share Halloween looks each Friday. I am having a lot of fun coming up with looks and practicing new skills.

2. Decide on a Sale or a few. I have a few ideas, I just need to make them come to action.

xoxo Heather

Now let's see how I did in S E P T E M B E R Goals...

✔1. Lose 5 pounds. I lost 4.2 in August and I hope to lose more this month.

✘2. Have the inside of our house painted. I was hoping to get this done in August and I knew it was a long shot but here's to hoping it gets done in September.

✔3. Decorate for Fall. Oh how I can't wait to bring out all the PUMPKINS!

✘4. Have lunch with Talia to celebrate her BIRTHDAY! We love having lunch together but to have a reason to celebrate is just icing on the cake.

✔5. Stay on Track with my Bible App and 100 Days to Brave. During July I got about a week behind on my bible reading and it took me most of August to get caught up so I really try to stay on track.

✔6. Enjoy all the Pumpkin Spice. I do not like PSL from Starbucks but I do love pumpkin spice coffee, creamers, breads, etc.

IP 7. Delete Photos and Videos from my phone. My phone has over 4,000 pictures on it. Y'all that is crazy! I really need to delete and organize them.

✔8. Complete 5-6 items on Home Improvement List. I have several things that I can work on when the kids are at school for 2 days a week that shouldn't take to long.

✘9. Plan or Host a Wine Tasting Night. Y'all Ben and I loved going to wine tastings at our local liquor store and then 'Rona hit and they had to stop them. I found the CUTEST Wine Tasting Kit in the Target HotSpot and it would be such a fun night.

✔1. Start back to School on a Hybrid Schedule. My kids will go to school on Monday and Tuesday then digital learn Wednesday-Friday.

✔2. Host the Bulldawg Bash. EEK We can't wait to have friends and family over to watch FOOTBALL.

✔3. Have Dinner with Friends. We have a Fiesta planned for this month and I can't wait to hang out with them and catch up!

✔4. Celebrate 17 Years of Marriage. WOW I can't believe Ben and I will be married for 17 years this month. Time sure does fly when you are having fun.

✔5. Finalize Ella's 13th Birthday Celebration. We have the date and place nailed down now onto the FUN and decorations.

✔6. Celebrate Trixie's 4th Birthday. Not sure how we will celebrate just yet but we will make her feel super special!

✘7. Try One New Recipe Every Week. Y'all I am so tired of cooking the same ole' thing and when I ask my family what they want for dinner they say they don't care. Well this mama is going to try something each week and no one can complain it.

My Glittery Heart:

✔1. Be Consistent on Social Media. I am trying to grow my followers organically but y'all it's hard. Sometimes I feel like it's a full time job! I have been taking the time to plan out post even if it's just a week at a time.

✔2. Share the Football Bar Cart. I took the pictures last week and I can't wait to show y'all in a few weeks. It so dang CUTE!

✔3. Share National Cinnamon Raisin Bread Day. Ella has really been enjoying being in the kitchen with me and sometimes even by herself. We found a new Cinnamon Raisin Bread recipe and we can't wait to try it.

✔4. Share Fall Home Tour. I plan to start getting out all the Fall bins next week.

✔5. Get a New Light for Craft Room. I think to put the finishing touch to my work space would be a darling new light.

Oh My Glitter:

✔1. Gain Followers on my NEW Oh My Glitter Instagram. I originally didn't want to have multiple IG accounts but after really thinking about it and going back and forth I thought it was best to separate all of my passions.

✔2. Work on Wooden signs. I have really missed cutting, sanding, and painting wood. I hope to get back to it this month.

✔1. Continue sharing looks on my NEW Glitter and Glam by Heather account.  I am excited to share all my different looks and products. Plus I love the practice that it gives me.

✘2. Host a Gift with Purchase. I purchased a few goodies to give away when my customers make a purchase. I just love the added personal touch.

20 out of 25- I'll take it! Here are a few pictures to show the progress.
