Our Week with Christmas Shopping and Christmas Celebrations

Hey Y'all! Happy Thursday! Happy New Year!! Welcome 2026!

I hope your week is off to a great start! I am catching up on weekly recaps today and tomorrow and then next week back to regular blog post!

Monday, December 15th-

Ian to work, Ben to the office, coffee and Jesus for me, Ella off to school. I got my planner set up for the week. Then I went to Chipotle for the $4 burrito hack.

Go to the Chipotle app, click Menu, pick Taco, then one taco, choose flour tortilla, your meat, and toppings, and finally a tortilla on the side. Once you pick up your order, add your one taco to the extra tortilla, wrap it up, and enjoy!! It comes out to $4.10.

After lunch, I went to Publix, Target, and Hobby Lobby. I did manage to wash sheets and towels.

I made ritz cracker chicken for dinner, cleaned up the kitchen, showered, and chilled before calling it a night!

Tuesday, December 16th-

Ian to work, Ben to the office, coffee and Jesus for me, and Ella off to school. I started a load of laundry, got ready, and headed to the Mall of GA to do some more Christmas shopping. I went to chicken salad chick for lunch. Stopped by Publix to get the items to make spaghetti for dinner. By 8:30, this was Trixie and I on the couch!

Wednesday, December 17th-

Ian to work, Ben to the office, coffee and Jesus for me, and Ella off to school. I got dog food cooking in the crockpot. Then I honestly just did a few things around the house and read the rest of the day. Ella got home from school and look who took a nap in my lap before work. Just think she will be 3.5 hours away from me this fall :(

The boys and I had our favorite ramen noodles for dinner. I cleaned up, showered, and waited for Ella to get home from work.

Thursday, December 18th-

Ian to work, Ben to the office, coffee and Jesus for me, and Ella off to school. I read for a little bit, then got ready and headed to the elementary school that Ella is doing her work base learning for her class' Christmas party. Y'all it was so cute and brought back so many memories of the kids class parties.

After her party, her and I went to El Real for lunch. Then she went home and I went to run a few errands.

I made tacos for dinner and the girls and I made some chocolate cover pretzels! I cleaned up the kitchen, showered, and crashed.

Friday, December 19th-

Ian to work, Ben to the office, coffee and Jesus for me, Ella slept in. She was officially on Christmas break.

I went to workout at Burn with LA. I got home, dyed my hair, worked on a blog post after I photographed the house for the Christmas Home Tour post.

Ella went to lunch with the FFA officers.

Later that evening, we met LA, Brett, Turtle, and Fabiola0 at Top Dawg for dinner while Ella was at work. After we ate, we moved to the bar....Ella got cut and was doing her closing chores and look she does know how to wash windows! HA

Saturday, December 20th-

We slept in, coffee and Jesus for me, I made sausage balls for breakfast before cooking my fajita chicken to take to my mom's house for Christmas. We left the house around 12. I took the fajita chicken in this meat resting bag and it worked great.

Oh Ben!

On the way home from mom's, we stopped by Turtle Creek to get our gifts for Sunday. Then we met Keith and Dixie at The Bistro for drinks. Ben realized that his bracelet was missing so I called my mom. She found it so we went back to her house to pick it up. On the way home, we got gas and CFA. I put everything up, showered, put on my pj's, and waited for Ella to get home from work.

Sunday, December 21st-

We slept in, coffee and Jesus for me, cooked breakfast, and then watched church online. Ella went to work at 11. I got everything ready to take to the Bramlett Christmas. We left the house around 2:15. We were a little late because we were trying to wait on Ella to get off work. She got off about 10 minutes after we left so she ended up meeting us at Ben's aunts house.
