Happy Friday Y'all! How was your week? It was a fun one for us and now Ben and I are in Highlands, NC for our anniversary trip! Today, I am sharing a few Fall Touches around the house. Next week I am decorating for Halloween.

I mentioned a few weeks ago that we our porch got a little facelift! So I thought it would be fun to share how I decorated it for FALL!

Happy Friday Friends! It's been a week over here. I just felt like I could keep up with everything. Ever have those weeks?? 

Ben and I are headed to the lake this weekend to celebrate our 18th wedding anniversary. I'm excited to spend the weekend with just HIM! 

But for today, I thought I would share the few Fall touches that I have added around the house.

Hello FRIDAY! This was the kids first full week back in school. When my kids start back to school, I automatically think it should be FALL!! Am I the only one?? I have had FALL fever all week so I thought I would share a few of my FALL FAVORITES! Signs of Fall are starting to show up in stores, a few leaves are starting to FALL! It makes me want to crank down the AC and start a fire 😉 Anyone else have Fall Fever??

Ours has been great and once again FLOWN by!! 

Today I thought I would share our family photos that we had taken last week! I am so in love with how they turned out!! 

Katie from Katie McWhorter Photography  has taken our family photos for the past 3 years and every year I love them more and more! She has a great eye for photography! She swears we are just a photogenic family, but I swear she is just that talented! 
Local friends......you need to make an appointment!!! 
You will not be disappointed!! :)

Ian has been playing golfing on and off his whole life with Ben. But he really starting taking it serious earlier this year and he LOVES it!! He eat, sleeps, and breathes Golf!!

Ella started taking guitar lessons at the beginning of the year and she LOVES it!! She wants to be a Country Singer when she grows up!!!

Happy Fall Y'all

YAY it's the first day of FALL!! 
Now if this GA heat would get the memo that would be GREAT!! We need cooler weather down here since we can't spend our days at the pool anymore....HA

In honor of the first day of FALL I thought it would be fun to share our Fall Bucket List! 

We always carve a pumpkin!! The kids have SO much fun helping Ben decide what to carve and pulling out the 'guts' is their FAVORITE part!!

Last year, we took the kids to their first Georgia game! We hope to attend another one in November

My kids do not LOVE trick or treating....I know they are crazy! 

When Ian was younger he would get about 5 mini packs of M&M's and be done!! 

Ella goes just to go!! HA

We have BIG plans this fall break and we are SO excited!! 

Fall Break 2014 we went to Disney!! 

Have a bonfire and make smores

We have a small firepit in our back yard!! 

We love it!!

Go to a Fall Festival!! 

Our church host a fall festival every year and we are looking forward to it again this year!!

Ella and I are so excited for her party this year!! 

We have several fun stations planned! 

Last year, She wanted to go to the "American Girl Doll" Hotel!! 

The Marriott partnered with the American Girl doll store and you can pick the "American Girl" package!! 

It was SUPER Cute! but pricey, so she got to pick one friend to spend the night.....She picked Addison! I know..shocker! ;)

The girls "checked" us into the hotel!

Happy Birthday Ella Marie! 

Later in the evening, Cookies and Milk were delivered to the room for the girls and dolls! 

Then we headed downstairs to watch an American Girl Movie! 

Then it was bed time for the girls and dolls! 

I'm not sure I will be able to 'top' an American Girl Birthday! HA

Take Family Pictures!! 

I have our family pictures scheduled and I am so excited about the location and what I have "pictured" in my head! I hope they turn out!! I still haven't decided on our outfits yet!

I count my blessings everyday!! I am so thankful for this life and the people I share it with! 

I hope to get the kids to tell me something they are thankful for every day! 

Make a Pumpkin Recipe!! 

I  "tasted" the 'Ooey Gooey Pumpkin Bars at William Sonoma this past weekend and they were heavenly!! I hope to make them soon!! Ella even tried it and LOVED them!! 

 Johannah shared her Pumpkin Bread Recipe yesterday for our Recipe Club and I hope to try these this weekend!!

Friday Favorites

Oh Hey Friday!! 

I'm so glad you are showing your face again! HA.

 I love the weekends!! 

Tonight we are headed to our local high schools football game!! 

No, we do not have a kid on the team and I think we only know one player.... but hey it's fun!!! 

Hope you guys have had an awesome week! 

As Always,  I am sharing a few of our FAVORITES this week!! 

 Last week, I started a new workout routine! Autumn Calabrese recently released Country Heat!! I am no fan of working out but these videos are quickly becoming my FAVORITE 30 minutes. I look like a COMPLETE idiot dancing and I mess up a lot BUT I have a lot of fun and I am sweating at the end of it!! 

And it's even more fun in my FAVORITE workout tank!! 

Strawberries are a FAVORITE around here. And this momma loves them in her yogurt every morning so I started measuring out my strawberries in these SUPER cute Mason jars and hiding them behind my yogurt in the fridge! 🙈  #sorrynotsorry. 

I do however make sure I have more cut up for the kids!! BUT Ian could eat an entire container as a "snack"!

The Darius Rucker concert was definitely a FAVORITE!of all of ours this week!!

My FAVORITE song he sings is 'Southern State of Mind'!

I mentioned on my 10 on 10 post this week that I got a new rug on Saturday!! Well I LOVE it in my living room! It is a FAVORITE for sure!! 

I think I have FINALLY found my "lunchbox packing" groove!!  It makes our morning routine so much easier!! 
 Thanks to Justine for sharing these AMAZING containers!! They are our new FAVORITES!! 

Speaking of Justine...She shared that she made her own laundry detergent this past weekend!! Well my sister has been making her own for a while now and I have had it on my "to do" list, but just never did it! So when Justine shared the post last Friday... I told myself...Heather just make it already!! So yesterday while I was at Walmart I bought all the ingredients PLUS this HUGE glass jar to store it!! It took me maybe 20 minutes to make it and that included grating the soap!! I washed towels with it yesterday and they smelled HEAVENLY!!  I could kick myself for not making it sooner!! 

I swear laundry is my new FAVORITE household chore....JUST KIDDING!! ;)

I pulled out all my Fall/Halloween bins from the storage shed on Tuesday!!! 

I know this looks like a HOT MESS! but this is how I decorate...I put everything on my dining room table and then start placing it where I want it!! 

I will post a "Fall decorating" post in the next few weeks!! I hope to get all my decorations out this weekend!! 

I would have to say...Fall is my FAVORITE!! I love summer, but everything about FALL is just....FALL!!

Being a MOM is HARD but is my FAVORITE job...I just make sure I "wine" harder each night!!! HA
