Our Most FAVORITE Time of Year.

Happy Friday Friends! This week has been straight up CRAZY! We have been SUPER busy. We traded my Expedition for a newer Expedition but it was still at the body shop (getting fixed AGAIN from hitting a deer) so I had to worry about getting it to the dealership where we traded it, Ben left for Arizona on Tuesday, I had my glass stove top replaced because I cracked the original, I have new couches being delivered today, I have a very busy Etsy Shop this time of year, and then with all the kids extracurricular activities this mama is EXHAUSTED!

With all of that being said, I wanted to be reminded of all the happy and FAVORITE moments that we are looking forward to this Christmas Season.

So let me share with you our Christmas Bucket List!!

{ONE} Decorate for Christmas

I love decorating our house for all the different holidays/occasions but decorating for Christmas is most definitely my FAVORITE.

{TWO} Drive around and Look at Lights.

Ben and Ian like to look at the lights when we are out and about but Ella and I love driving around and looking at them. So my plan this year is to make coffee/hot chocolate grab Stephanie and Addison and go "ooh and ahh" over all the lights.

{THREE} Attend Cookies with Santa.

Every year, Ella's school host a Cookies with Santa event and we have so much fun.

{FOUR} Celebrate Ian's 13th Birthday.

I can't even on this one....someone hand me a paper bag.

{FIVE} Host FriendsMAS.

I really wanted to host a Friendsgiving but never got the chance, so I hope to be able to have friends over for dinner this Christmas season.

{SIX} Go to Dollywood.

We can't wait to go back and see all the Christmas lights. I booked our hotel last week.

{SEVEN} Enjoy a Christmas Cocktail.

I have a new one that I have already tried and LOVE. I will be sharing it soon.

{EIGHT} Send out Christmas Cards.

I have already ordered them, they have arrived, now I just have to address them.

{NINE} Visit Atlanta Botanical Gardens.

Remeber when I scored all the baskets at that silent auction back in October. Well, one of the baskets had tickets for 2 to the Botanical Gardens plus a $50 gift card for dinner. We can't decide if Ella and I are going to have a girls night out or include the boys.

{TEN} Have a GNO and go see Bad Moms Christmas.

Stephanie and I are trying really hard to get a night away to go see this movie.

{ELEVEN} Make a Cream Cheese Cranberry Bread.

I can't wait to try out this recipe.

{TWELVE} Enjoy all the Peppermint.

I love peppermint. Peppermint Mochas, Peppermint Mocha creamer, candy canes, Peppermint Bark, the list goes on...

{THIRTEEN} Watch all the Christmas Movies.

I'm hoping the kids and I can have a jammie and movie day over Christmas break.

{FOURTEEN} Make Christmas Cookies.

I love baking this time of year and cookies are our FAVORITE.

{FIFTEN} Set up a Hot Cocoa Bar.

We love hot cocoa. I can't wait to try a few different recipes this year.

{SIXTEEN} Adopt a Child in Need.

Every year Ella's school has a giving tree. They write down suggestions on ornaments and place them on the tree.

{SEVENTEEN} Write Letters to Santa.

I have a feeling this may be our last year to write Letters to the Big Guy. Ella has started asking a lot of questions. :(

{EIGHTEEN} Attend Christmas Eve Service.

Our church does an amazing candlelight Christmas Eve service.

{NINETEEN} Host Christmas Dinner.

Every year, Ben's parents and brother come over for Christmas dinner and we use my china that Ben's grandmother handpainted. It's one of my very FAVORITE traditions.

{TWENTY} Make Ornaments to give as gifts.

I know Ian will not participate in this fun but Ella and I will have a blast.

So many memories to be made. I can't wait. This year's list is a combination of traditions, favorites from last year, and a few new ones to try.

Did you make a Christmas Bucket List? If so, anything we should add to our list?
