What I am Currently Reading during my Quiet Time.

Hey Friends! Happy Tuesday! I hope your week is off to a great start! I shared earlier this month that I received ARC copies of Waiting for Willa and Nice and Easy  those are the only 2 books that I have completed this month and I have already talked about those so I thought I would share with y'all what I am currently reading during my quiet time each morning.

I am pretty sure y'all are tried of seeing this little corner of my house but y'all it is seriously one of my most favorite places in my house.

I'm an early riser. I love getting up before anyone else in my house to get a few things accomplished before the troops come stomping down the stairs.
One thing I try to do every morning is my quiet time. I like to read a few devotionals and what I like to call personal development books. You can see this post for some of my ALL TIME FAVS!

Here is a list of what I am currently reading every morning...

This is my second time around reading this devotional. It's good y'all! I try to do something BRAVE every day! But some days are better than others.

The highlighted sentence really hit me hard.
" Our attitude toward something defines how we think about it, which in turn determines how we'll act, and at the end of the day, how we will feel about ourselves."
What a TRUE sentence!

This devotional is OK to me. Some pages just touch my soul while others are like ok I know I should do better! 😉

Brave Love by Lisa Leonard. WOW! I'm on Chapter 17 and her story is AMAZING. I don't know that I could ever be as BRAVE as Lisa. She is amazing and not to mention her jewelry is BEAUTIFUL! If your not following her you are really missing out!

I am currently in a bible study on Wednesday mornings with an AMAZING group of ladies! We are working our way through Lysa Terkeurst It's Not Suppose to be this Way.
Over the course of each week, we read 2 chapters. This book is really hitting home with me because of everything going on with my mom. As you all know, she just finished 35 treatments of radiation and last week she underwent surgery to remove a tumor that came up in between her breast. The doctor is very optimistic that it is benign. We should know the results from pathology this week.
It's not supposed to be this way. My mom shouldn't have to go through cancer, she shouldn't have had to have a tumor removed.
Sharing stories with ladies in this class has been so good for my soul.

What are some of your FAVORITE devotionals or personal development books? I have my next one lined up but after that I have no idea!

Please let me know your recommendations in the comments!
