Our Week with Ella's Visit to my Sister's House and Shelter in Place was Lifted.

Happy Monday Friends! It's a new week, a fresh start, and new goals to crush! But before we get started with our new week I want to recap last week!

I hope you will grab our graphic and join us!

Monday, April 27th-

It was business as usual in the morning with school but it was a busy day for me in the craft room creating new goodies and finishing up orders.

I also managed to get the Fiesta bar cart set up. Here is a sneak peak...

The rest of the day we worked on school work and housework! Nothing to exciting.

Tuesday, April 28th-

My morning started with my quiet time and I started this book again! I shared a review on a blog post.

Then I got the kids up and going on school work and I jumped on the Peloton. Of Course, I drank my energize in a monogram shaker! 😉

Then I had several wine glasses that I needed to photograph for the shop so we loaded up the glasses and props and I took photos outside of Stephanie's house so these 2 could social distance themselves and play a game and Ella got to meet Addison's new bunny.

Here are some of the new wine glasses I added to the shop last week.

Wednesday, April 29th-

Was much the same as all the other days. School work and Housework. Appraently so much the same that I didn't take any photos.

Thursday, April 30th-

At midnight on April 30th our shelter in place was lifted but our Governor encouraged us all the stay home as much as possible and we will do that but we have slowing started increasing who we visit and that included letting Ella go spend 3 days with my sister.
So Thursday morning, we dropped Ian off at the course and then drove 2 hours to my sisters house. My dad and brother were there helping my brother in law build their new porch which meant we got to see my niece, Everlee.

On my way home, I picked up Ian and we grabbed mexican take out for dinner! We went to bed early.

Friday, May 1st-

My morning was the same. Quiet time and I took Ian to the course. Then I came home to get on the Peloton, get dressed, and run a few errands.

My sister sent me these pictures throughout the day!

I shared some of my FAVORITE small businesses on the blog.

I took this selfie as my first #photoadayinmay2020 #selfie

By 5:00, I planted my booty on the back deck with my kindle and a glass of wine.

By the time the boys got home, we ate dinner, and then they wanted to clean their clubs on the back deck it started to get chilly so Trixie and I grabbed a blanket!

Saturday, May 2nd-

My guys headed to the course and I headed to our new local Farmers Market and a local boutique that offered curbside pick up!

I scored these cute utensil holders.

and look at this beautiful arrangement from the Farmers Market. I have a whole post planned for my dining room table set up!

Later that day, I joined Stephanie at the pool to lay out and chill.

Then that evening we went to a rooftop bar before heading to my nephew's house to pick up Ella. Ella had the absolute BEST time with my sister and I love their relationship but I was missing my girl and more than ready for her to be home.

Sunday, May 3rd-

My gang headed to the course while I stayed home to catch up on house work, blog work, and Etsy shop work. It was nice to work in a quiet house! 😉

I enjoyed my vanilla greek yogurt with berries and granola on the back deck. #photoadayinmay2020 #breakfast.

My gang got home from the course and we grilled chicken for dinner and enjoyed a movie on the back deck!

It was a great way to end our week.

I have gotten a few questions about how I feel about our state reopening. Let me just say this... I don't feel like anyone has the right answers and I don't feel like anyone knows what the "right" thing is to do in this situation. I feel like everyone has to do what they feel is "right" for their family because every family is different. Ben and I feel like that if our Governor feels like it is safe to slowly reopen our state (mind you he didn't demand businesses to open he merely gave them the option to reopen) then we feel like we will slowly start returning to normal life. As you can see from the pictures above we have "opened" our quarantine circle and we will continue to do so. Luckily, our kids are old enough to understand the seriousness of this virus and can wash their hands, not touch their face and objects, etc. but at the same time, I refuse to let us live in fear.

Again, this is simply how we as a family are moving forward and I hope you will respect our decision as I will respect your decision of how choose to navigate the unknown.

Just like my mama has always told me "If you don't have anything nice to say then don't say anything at all"

Cheers to a new week and lots of love.
