Our Week with A Cooking Class, Teaching A Charcuterie Class, and Mom in the Hospital.

Hello Monday! How was your weekend? I am recapping last week and weekend!

Monday, November 7th-

Coffee, Jesus, Kids to School, and I headed to my post op appointment. I met Talia for lunch. I came home to do all the things. Laundry, decorate the bar cart, clean the shower, cook dinner, Ella to Young Life, showers, and bed.

Tuesday, November 8th-

ELECTION DAY! The kids had a Digital Learning Day. Coffee, Jesus, enjoyed a slow morning, Kids worked on school work, and then headed to the golf course. I went to a lunch and learn at The Oasis about foods that heal. We learned about red and purple foods, garlic, and enjoyed a delicious salmon dish for lunch.

Y'all know I do not usually talk Politics on this little space but I did share this on my stories.... Guess y'all know what political party I am now.....

Tuesday evening, Ben and I headed to the Mall of Georgia and we had dinner at PF Chang's.

Wednesday, November 9th-

Coffee, Jesus, Kids to school. Then I worked on the computer for golf stuff and then practiced my charcuterie board stuff for the class I taught on Thursday.

Wednesday evening, Ben had a work function, Ian went to Kathryn's, Ella and I just snacked. Then I watched the CMA Awards before a zoom call for a Gluten Free group that I am in for the Holidays.

Thursday, November 10th-

Coffee, Jesus, Kids to school, then I got ready and headed to The Oasis (an outreach program through our church) to teach a charcuterie board class. I have never taught a class but I have taken 3 so it was fun to share what I have learned.

I created this large board.....

and here are a few boards that others created. They made individual boards.

It was so much fun. Later that day, I picked up Ella, we went to the nail salon, then Ben and I went to hear Brandon Conway sing at Park Place in Braselton. He is AMAZING!

I saw this and hope to recreate it for Thanksgiving with Ben's family.

Friday, November 11th-

Coffee, Jesus, Kids to school, and look at Trixie right under my feet.

I met Dixie for breakfast at Le Gabrielle's for breakfast and we stayed through noon! HA

I got home in time to kiss my boys bye as they headed to Valdosta for a golf tournament. Ella got home from school, I took her to LB's, I picked up CFA, and spent the rest of the evening on the couch. I didn't feel all that great.

I took a Benadryl and CRASHED!

Saturday, November 12th-

Ella and I were up early to drop her off to work at the Farmers Market, I went to the grocery store, and came home to start cleaning.

Ella called me and asked if we could pick up a buffalo chicken wrap from Friends for lunch. Of course we can...

She was so hungry, she was eating it in the car.

The guys got home right at kick off....We watched the game and Georgia WON!

Sunday, November 13th-

I woke up, took care of the pups, and then Ben came downstairs on my phone. My sister called and my mom was in the hospital. She is doing ok but they believe she had a minor stoke. (Nothing showed up on the CT or MRI) but she does have a little weakness on the left side. They are also treating her for vertigo.

So I spent a majority of the day at the hospital. Ben played in a golf tournament and the kids went to play golf with Chris.

We all got home. We watched Yellowstone and Crashed!

Happy Monday!
