Our Week with A Trip to Six Flags, the Pool, and new Wallpaper

Hello Monday! How is it Monday again? This summer is going by way to FAST for my liking. 

I am recapping last week and this past weekend. I know most post have been a lot of recaps lately but I just want to make sure I get all the memories in the little space of mine. 

Friday Favorites | Summer Must Haves for Women

Happy Friday Friends! We are home from the lake and enjoyed the Kip Moore Concert last night! We are just having the BEST spring break and I plan to recap everything next week!

But for now let me share with you my FAVORITE essentials for the pool, lake, or beach!

Friday Favorites | Seasonal Surprise Box Edition

Happy Friday Friends! I hope you have had a great week!! We have had a lot of fun our first full week of summer vacation at home!!

As usual, I am sharing a few of our FAVORITES from this week!

Hello Monday {Weekend Recap}

Oh Monday, We meet again!! We had a pretty laid back weekend and it was just what we needed after getting back into our school grove!! 

So today I am linking up with Johannah for hello Monday!! 

Friday I spent most of the day volunteering at the elementary school! I made copies for Ella's class and started organizing the PTO storage trailer~~ 

So I made Taco Soup for dinner~~ I will be sharing the recipe on Wednesday, August 17th for Johannah and I's Recipe Club!! 

It was super YUMMY! 

Then we spent the rest of the evening watching the Opening Ceremonies!!

The doorbell rings around 8:30 and it was my sweet friend Stephanie just dropping off a "just because" gift!! I am BLESSED to have her in my life!!

Saturday we got up and headed to Grammy and Grandaddy's pool at their apartment complex!! 

Pizza, Sweet Tea, Wine, and the Olympics= a pretty good afternoon!! 

I said Ben "let's take a selfie" and this is the face I got:)

Ian was exhausted from the first week of school and swimming, so he just laid on the counter!! Oh Ian! 

Sunday we headed to church and lunch! Then my guys headed to the Golf Course!! 

Ella had to come home and clean her room...It was a MESS!! 

I will NEVER understand how she can make such a MESS! 

you ask why she is smiling?!?!?! 

She recruited her BFF to help!! :)

While they were cleaning, I was cleaning the rest of the house and folding laundry!! 

Meanwhile, Duke was napping. HA

I am happy to report that Ella's room and drawers are clean!! 

She really wants to redo her room, so I told her she had to keep her room clean for a month before I will spend the time, money, and effort to redo her room!! For Ella, this task will be HUGE!!

Friday Favorites {Pool Edition}

What a fun week we have had! Much of our time was spent by the pool with AWESOME friends!! 

Hope you guys are having an AMAZING week as well!!

Monday we spent the day at the pool with one of my besties! Talia and I met way back in middle school and have been friends ever since!  She is one of my very FAVORITE people! 

Together we have 6 Kiddos!!

Poor Ella is the only girl! But have no fear, she can hang with the boys and often times keeps them in check! 

These 2 fellas met the day Noah Shane was born and have been best buds ever since! As the kids have gotten older and more active in school and sports, we don't get to see each other as much but when we do its like no time has passed! and that is one of my all time FAVORITE moments! 

Little boy tan lines and cracks are for sure a FAVORITE!!! ;)

Tuesday we went to RUSH with our children's church group! RUSH is an indoor trampoline park! It is amazing and definitely one of my kids FAVORITE places to go!!

But dodgeball was his FAVORITE!! 

Wednesday Ian went to play golf with his granddaddy! Which is his very FAVORITE thing to do! 

Ella went to play with her friend Aly and I went grocery shopping ALL BY MYSELF! which of course is like a VACATION and a VACATION is always a FAVORITE!!

Thursday we went to my friend, Hannah's pool! We had a blast! My kids love playing with her girls!

I put out the kids bean bag chairs so they could use them to read this summer.... Well they are now Duke's new FAVORITE spot!

My FAVORITE 'Oh My Glitter' Creation this week was these Photo Booth props!! How fun is this fiesta going to be?!?!!? I have not listed these in the Etsy shop yet!! 

Watching these guys hit golf balls! Golf is Ian's FAVORITE game to play! and Ella loves to join him!! 

The pool, lunch, kids swimming and burning off energy, and my kindle is a FAVORITE way to spend my afternoon! 

Everyone was HAPPY!! 

We have enjoyed VBS this week! I was in charge of crafts (I know you are shocked) and watching the kids really get into the crafts, projects, and  learning about Jesus is most DEFINITELY a FAVORITE!!
