Ella- Homecoming 2023 Part 1

 Hey Y'all! Happy Wednesday! I hope your week is off to a great start! I am recapping Ella's first homecoming of the season 😉 She wanted to go to Laney Brooks and Addison's homecoming because they go to a different high school so those 3 girls made it happen. 

Ella's 13th Birthday Party

Happy Wednesday Friends!  I hope everyone's week is off to a GREAT start! Today I am sharing Ella's 13th birthday party! Y'all I think I am still recovering 😉

Saturday morning, Ella set her alarm for 7:40 am so we could tell her HAPPY BIRTHDAY at exactly 7:50 am when she was BORN! 

Then she got ready to head to the golf course with her daddy and brother. They met Uncle Chris and Walt there. 

At 12:00 pm, I met Leigh Anne to start decorating. Y'all Ella gave us exact instructions on how she wanted everything to look including this balloon arch! HA

Happy Monday Friends! Well this week we are officially finished with school and I am so happy I could shout it from the rooftops! Ella has done really well with digital learning. Ian not so much. Sitting at a computer for hours on end is NOT his thing. He is a hands on type learner. We are so happy to start Summer Break this week!!

Fall Break Recap

Happy Tuesday Friends! My kids are back in school after a full week and one day of Fall Break! Last week was a great mixture of chilling and celebrating. I am going to start part 1 of 3 of our Fall Break Fun! Grab a cup of coffee or glass of wine (no judgement here) and settle in for a little recap of FUN!

Our Weekend with all the Birthday Celebrations

Happy Thursday Friends, Happy Friday Eve!!! We have had a low key Fall Break so far and it has been exactly what we needed!

I didn't get a recap of our weekend up on Monday because we hosted 2 birthday celebrations at our house this past weekend so when Sunday evening rolled around I was EXHAUSTED!!

Friday the kids were out of school for their first official day of Fall Break. We spent the day cleaning house and setting up for the birthday celebrations but not before...

I can't believe this time 11 years ago my "baby" was born. Really where has the time gone?

So today I thought it would be fun to share 11 facts and a few pictures of my sweet Ella!

I cannot BELIEVE that my Ella is 10 today! Two WHOLE hands, a full decade......and cue the tears! 

She reminded me earlier this year that I was going to have a double-digit daughter and a teenager as a  son! Thanks, Ella....NOT! 😢😢

Since we are on Fall Break, I asked Ella if she wanted to do anything special for her birthday! She said "I want to sleep in, have a movie marathon, and eat breakfast for dinner" Well her wish is my command.... today on the movie line up we have Harry Potter, Space Jam, and Hocus Pocus!! We had her friend birthday party 2 weekends ago with lots of red carpet fun! This past weekend, we spent the day at Jaemor Farms with some of my family and ended it with lunch with Ben's parents! So this sweet girl has had a full week of celebrating!

Life Lately

Hope you guys are having an awesome week!! 

I can't believe it's Thursday again! 

Time really does need to SLOW down! 

I know I sound like a broken record....but my goodness! 

Just thought I would share a little bit of life lately.......

I started watching Gilmore Girls and now I can't stop! 

What took me so long to watch this show????
I can't wait for The Gilmore Girls Revival! 

I use I should have added Gilmore Girls to my "What I'm Watching" Yesterday on What's Up Wednesday! 

I know now where the "pig" part comes from on Guinea Pig! 

Daisy "squeals" like a pig when she knows she is about to be fed and she eats like one!! HA

We were refilling the timothy hay in her cage and she came out of her house and walked into the bag!! HA

This dude had an awards ceremony last week! He got perfect attendance for the 1st 9 weeks of school!! 

He has good grades in all his subjects except Math! It's kicking his booty and mine ;( 

He would NOT look at me for a picture! HA

Ben took his sales team to dinner at Maggiano's last week! It is a family style Italian food and it is heavenly!

I got this picture in the mail from the VSU Golf Coach!! 

We got school pictures back! When did they decide to get so big:( 

I got my grey covered up! 

Can't be going on 2 trips with "glitter" growing out of my head! HAHA

Can't be going on 2 trips with ugly nails either!! lol

I also did my Civil Duty and VOTED early! 

I also wanted to share a few Oh My Glitter creations lately.....

I mentioned yesterday that I am planning on reopening my shop! 

Here is some new items you will find when I reopen!

Happy Birthday Ella

I  can't believe today my "baby" turns 9 today! 

She is sweet, sassy, smart, and has a heart of GOLD! She loves taking care of others. Stephanie swears that I am going to have a dozen grandkids! 

She loves school and loves learning!! I checked her out of school 45 minutes early on Friday and she CRIED!! 

She started taking guitar lessons in February and has her first recital in December! 

I can't wait to hear her play!! 

Happy Birthday Ella Marie!! We love you to the moon and back!! 

I am so thankful that God chose me to be her mama!! 

She makes me want to lose my mind sometimes but I couldn't imagine life with out her! She completed us!! 

Plus, I'm pretty sure that HE knew that we could only handle ONE girl....HAHA 

Here is a look at Ella over the past 9 years at her birthday parties!! 

Her FIRST Birthday! 

She was NOT a fan of her cake! But her daddy did smash it in her face!! She was NOT happy! ;)

 

Her SECOND birthday!

We invited family and close friends! I rented a bounce house and the kids LOVED it!! 

Her THIRD Birthday 

She had a Build A Bear Party!! 

 3 days before her party she had her tonsils and adenoids out:( She was pitiful at her party:(

We had lunch and cake in the food court at the mall!! 

Her FOURTH Birthday

She had a princess party at a local children's boutique.

(I can't remember the name of it)

They had a HUGE room with TONS of dress up clothes and make up. Then another room for cake and tea! 

You were able to pick a "princess" to host your party! 

She was OBSESSED with Belle!! 

She invited all her little girlfriends to this party, then the next day we had family over for lunch and presents!

Her FIFTH Birthday!! 

She had it at a place in the mall called Alter Ego! They got to play dress up, make up, hair, and nails done! 

Then walk out on a stage like a runway model! Plus have a dance party! She still talks about this party! 

We had her family party at the house. We bobbed for apples and painted pumpkins!! 

Her SIXTH Birthday! 

I LOST my mind on this one! She had a Spa Slumber Party! We applied mask, painted finger nails and toenails, etc! She had 12 little girls SPEND THE NIGHT! It was pure CRAZINESS but as everyone was going to sleep one little girl whispered "this was the BEST party EVER" And that made it ALL worth it!:) 

Her SEVENTH Birthday

Her birthday generally falls on Fall Break! So we were in Disney for her 7th birthday! 

I promise her daddy didn't rent out the Magic Kingdom for her!! But TRUST me if he could he would! She has him WRAPPED around her little finger:) 

She had an appointment at the BBB before the Magic Kingdom opened,  so that is why it looks like no one is there! HA 

Her EIGHTH Birthday! 

She got to pick one friend to go to the American Girl Doll Store, eat dinner, and spend the night in the hotel!! She picked Addison! 

Her NINTH Birthday! 

She wanted a Fall Festival in the backyard! You can read all about it here

Ella's Fall Festival Birthday Party + Printables

I have been planning Ella's Birthday party for about a month and a half now. I was SO pleased with how everything turned out!! We hosted her birthday party this past Saturday. We could not have asked for better weather.......

A few weeks before her party Ben was offered tickets to The Ryder Cup. I couldn't even be mad at him because it was a once and a life time opportunity! I was actually thrilled for him! Golf is his thing! I knew I could handle the party and with the help of our friends and family....Her party was a HUGE SUCCESS!! 

About 2 weeks before the party we sent out her invitations....

I used Picmonkey to create her invitations! 

I will warn you now.....picture OVERLOAD!! 

That morning I started setting up all the "stations"

This was in the middle of our drive way to direct the guest to the backyard~ 

First up the Photo Booth.....

I had a table set up with a bucket of pumpkins, pumpkin stickers, and sharpies! 

I found these decorating kits in the hot spot at Target...They had cats, witches, frankenstein, and a few more!

The Cupcake Walk was a HUGE hit!

Colleen aka Grammy was in charge of the cupcake walk so we had cupcake overload!!

She is one LOVED little girl and we are thankful that she is in our lives! I am one blessed mama to be raising this little girl!!
