I chose Embrace for my one little word for the year because I need to learn to Embrace this season of my life. Once I no longer volunteered at the kids elementary/middle schools, my days didn't revolve around car rider line, etc. It was very easy for me to wonder what to do with my life next. Did I even have a purpose anymore? I didn't feel like I was needed like I once was but I have learned recently that's not true. I am still very much needed just in my family just in different ways and I again need to Embrace this part of my life. I don't mean to sound like a downer. It was just a big change in my life that I had to lean to Embrace.

I also know the rest of this year is going to hold a lot more changes that I really need to learn to Embrace

So to remind myself of my one little word for the year and to also help me with my monthly goals. I made a board right next to my computer to be a constant reminder of both.

These are not the best pictures because it was raining and gloomy on the day I was typing this post.

The board is really boring right now and I hope to add more to it as the year goes on but I thought this was a good place to start.

Do you choose a word of the year? If so, what is your word?
