Our Week with My Car Battery Dying, Ben in Boston, and a Trip to Milledgeville.

Hey Y'all! Happy Thursday! I can't believe it is almost the weekend again! But I am here for it! We have a fun weekend planned! 

I am recapping February 2nd-8th. 

February 2nd- 

Ian to work, Ben in Boston, coffee and Jesus for me, and Ella off to school. I did some work on the computer (blog and golf) and watched Priscilla on Netflix. Ella got home after teaching, changed clothes, and headed to school. My sister called and I talked to her for over an hour just catching up. I finally got myself together, went to the local Japanese restaurant for some lunch. Drove down to Bath and Body Works for a candle and when I went back out to start my car, my battery was dead. I text Ben because he was in Boston for work. We tried to get a hold of our friend at Quicklane but Mondays are his off day, so I called Jud and thankfully he was able to send two deputies to jump me off. I went straight to Quicklane to get a new battery. That cost an arm and leg! UGH. 

I ran by Publix to grab stuff to make spaghetti for dinner. We all ate, I cleaned up, Ella went to Young Life, and Ian went to Kathryn's. 

Little Cat wanted to stay inside for the night. Ooops....

Little Cat woke me up around 2:15 walking all over our bed so I was scared that she needed to potty so I let her back outside. 

I finally fell back asleep. 

Tuesday, February 3rd- 

Ian to work, Ben still in Boston, coffee and Jesus for me, and Ella and I headed to her doctor's appointment for her sports physical.  After here appointment, we went to breakfast at CFA. I dropped her off at home and I ran to Target. Got what I needed there, home, put everything away, did laundry, and blogged. 

The kids got home, we ate a frozen pizza for dinner, and Ella went to Addison's basketball game. Ian chilled and I curled up on the couch to wait for Ella. I crawled into bed and waited for Ben to get home around 11:30. 

Wednesday, February 4th- 

Ian to work, Ben to the office, coffee and Jesus for me, and Ella off to school. I went to workout at Burn at 8:30, ran by Kroger on my way home, more laundry, more blogging, fajita chicken in the crockpot, and dyed my hair. 

We ate dinner, I cleaned up, put on my pj's, and we all chilled before crashing. 

Thursday, February 5th- 

Ian to work, Ben to the office, coffee and Jesus for me, and Ella off to school. I went to workout at Burn at 8:30. Got home and got ready to  head to let Stephanie's dogs potty before going to meet Anita for lunch at Chicken Salad Chick.

By 10:45, it was starting to snow again. SO OVER IT! 

As I was leaving the house....

Thankfully it didn't stick. I got home around 2, blogged some more, and by 3:45 Ian was swinging Trixie in her bed! HA 

We had a lot of fajita chicken leftover from Wednesday night so I made a big sheet pan of nachos for dinner. 

I cleaned up, showered, and curled up on the couch to unwind for the evening. 

Friday, February 6th- 

Ian to work, Ben to the office, coffee and Jesus for me, and Ella off to school. I went to workout at Burn at 8:30. Got home, got ready and headed to met Ben for lunch. I went with him to get his haircut before heading to his office to print tags for Ella's Valentine's for her 2nd graders. I will share them next week. I left Ben's office, ran by Publix, picked up golf uniforms, got home, helped Ella finish getting everything together to leave for SharpTop. We left the house around 5pm. Dropped her off for the weekend. 

I got home, Ian had gone to dinner with Walt, Ben went to Addison's game in Athens. I ate my leftover Willie's from lunch for dinner. I showered, curled up on the couch with my wine and kindle to wait for everyone to get home. 

I did play around with ChatGPT.....

Pretty accurate after a few specific details. Apparently I don't use Chatty enough to really know me. HA

Saturday, February 7th- 

Ian went to work, Ben and I slept in, coffee and Jesus for me, then we started to get ready to head to Milledgeville with Jud and Stephanie. Ian got home from work early . He chilled. 

Ben and I met Jud and Stephanie to follow them to Conyer's house to drop off their dogs for the night. We stopped by the lake house to drop off our stuff before heading out for lunch at Bollywood. Ben and I shared the chicken nachos. Y'all they were so GOOD!!! We had a couple of drinks before heading to Conyer's game at 3:30. 

After the game, we all went to The Brick for dinner with Conyer, his girlfriend, and some of his roommates and friends. Y'all we had the best time visiting with Conyer and meeting and hanging out with his friends! Seeing his life in Milledgeville. But to me he will always be that little boy that made friends with Ian in pre-k! 

We got back to the lake house around 10:45 and crashed!! 

Sunday, February 8th- 

Ben and I were up early and home by 9am. He got ready and headed to The Chimney's to play golf with Ian and Chris. I watched church online, got ready, headed to Legend's for lunch, then going to Publix to get stuff for the kids lunches. The boys picked up wings on their way home. I went to pick up Ella around 3:30 from her weekend away at Sharptop. 

We ate wings and just chilled for most of the day. Boys watched golf and then part of the Superbowl. Ella showered, unpacked, and got ready for the new week. 

I blogged, laundry, set up my planner, and got ready for the new week.
