National Soup Day | Potato Soup

Hey Y'all! Happy Wednesday! Did y'all know that today is National Homemade Soup Day? No, Well now you do!

I first shared this recipe back in November 2016 so right when I first started blogging.  I am going to share it again today because I have a lot more readers now then 10 years ago.

Today I am sharing my sweet friend Stephanie's Potato Soup!! You need at least 5 different Potato Soup recipes! HA!!
Stephanie cooks hers on the stove top!
However, I switched it up to a crock pot recipe!!

Ingredients:

10-12 medium potatoes; peeled and diced
3/4 stick of butter
1 can of cream of mushroom soup
1 can of cream of celery soup
1 large finely chopped onion
1.5 cup of half & half
2 cups of milk or enough to cover the potatoes
I cup of chicken bone broth
1 tablespoon of garlic salt
1 (8oz) cream cheese; diced into cubes
salt and pepper to taste

In your crockpot, put your diced potatoes
cover with the soups, half & half, and milk
add your butter, onion, garlic salt, cream cheese, salt, and pepper
Once you stir completely, make sure the potatoes are covered with the milk and broth (you may need to add a little more milk or broth)

Cook on high for 4 hours or slow for 8 hours!!

Top with cheese, bacon pieces, and green onion!

Y'all this soup is SO GOOD & SO EASY!!

I made this soup this past weekend when we were snowed in again and it was SO GOOD!

Also, does anyone know how to add "printable" recipes to blogger? I would love to add that as a feature but I have no idea how to do it. I am going to keep researching.
