Monday, January 26th-
We slept in and then Ian ended up going to work around 8:30. Ben worked from home. After coffee and Jesus for me, I got busy resetting the house, washing sheets and towels, taking out the trash and recycling, etc.
We went to Athens for dinner because we needed out of the house and the roads were fine. We went to Cane's for dinner and ran by Dick's Sporting Good's, eventually when we got home I showered again, put on my pj's, and curled up on the couch.
Tuesday, January 27th-
Ian to work, Ben to the office, coffee and Jesus for me, and Ella went to school. I went to Burn at 8:30 and then had a Focus Meeting at 9:15.
I got home, got ready, and headed to Norcross to the vinyl store. I met Ben, Josh, and Turtle at Pappadeaux's for lunch. I love their jumbo shrimp brochette. Get it every time I go there. I headed home and stopped at Publix. When I got home, I put on my comfy clothes and chilled for a little bit. After school, Ella headed to the mall of GA and the boys headed to Athens because Ben wanted to go to Onward Reserve to get more pants.
I curled up on the couch to read and scroll until everyone got home.
Wednesday, January 28th-
Ian to work, Ben to the office, coffee and Jesus for me, and Ella off to school. I went to Burn at 8:30. I got home, chilled, read, and then I saw a friend say that she asked ChatGPT to give her her color palette. I uploaded a picture and this was the result that I got. I love these colors.
That evening Ben and Ella went to Addison's game and Ian and I had a frozen pizza for dinner.
Stephanie sent me these pictures of Ben and Addison after the game. He loves to give her pep talks.
I don't know what he is going to do next year when he doesn't have a basketball player to follow. He went from my nephew, Cory, to Conyer, (Addison's older brother) to Addison. Which all happened to be read heads! HA
Thursday, January 29th-
Ian to work, Ben to the office, coffee and Jesus for me, and Ella off to school. I got busy cleaning house, (like even dusting ceiling fans), laundry, blogging, etc.
Trixie and I took a break around 3:15. She wasn't mad about it! HA
I made Seven Sisters Sticky Sesame chicken for dinner. Then it was our normal bedtime routine.
Friday, January 30th-
Ian to work, Ben to the office, coffee and Jesus for me, and Ella off to school. I went to Burn at 8:30 and then breakfast at CFA with LA!
Afterwards, I ran to the bank, car wash, Hobby Lobby, and Publix for items for the snow that was coming for the weekend.
That evening, Ben and I went to Longhorn for dinner and then met Ella at Addison's basketball game. Ian and Kathryn went to her sisters house for dinner.
Love these girls! We got home, I got stuff ready for Saturday, and then crawled into bed when Ian and Kathryn got home. Ella went to get snowed in at Addison's.
Saturday, January 31st-
We all slept in. Coffee and Jesus for me. Then I made breakfast, cleaned up, and then started Potato Soup.
It was really coming down.
We let little cat from next door come inside. She is normally an outside cat and has a heated kitty house next door but she knows we are all suckers and will let her inside even though Ben and Ian are highly allergic. 😝 She got real comfortable, real fast.
Sunday, February 1st-
Ben left for the airport at 4:50. I was up when Ben left and I knew I couldn't go back to sleep so I just got up!
By 5:15, Little cat was pawing at the front door to get in and this was her at 5:50! Like I said, very comfortable real fast!
The rest of the day, I spent doing all the things.... church online, blog post, laundry, cleaning up the craft room, and getting ready for Monday. Plus leftover potato soup for dinner.
