Show and Tell Tuesday {My Mixed Tape}

Twice a month I link up with Andrea
For Show and Tell Tuesday!!

Today's Show and Tell Edition is my life's mixed tape!

Instead of my whole life I thought I would share songs from my life since Ben!!

When Ben and I started dating in 2002, this was our "song",
Steve Holy's 'Good Morning Beautiful"

We were either at his apartment in Valdosta or my bestie, Talia's house!!
so yes lots of mornings he woke up with ME by his side!!

Fast Forward to marriage, then after about a year of being married
we welcomed Ian Michael into our lives and almost
3 years later Ella Marie came into our lives!

Parenthood was a hard adjustment. I stayed at home with the kids and most days I was in yoga pants,  a messy bun, and may or may not have showered when Ben came home from work.
It was the hardest and most rewarding period of our lives that I would NOT trade for anything!
I feel like Luke Bryan's  "Do I" is a good song to describe us during that period!

Early Motherhood was hard for me and at times I forgot I was a wife first!!
This is hard for me to admit, but it's true!
Have no fear Ben and I are great! It was just a rough patch for me!!

I mean...I know those yoga pants were a total turn on!! ;)

As I look back on this period of there early childhood and it makes me think of Darius Rucker's 'It won't be like this for long'

Yes, I realize that my kids are only 11 and 8 but everyday they need me less and less
It breaks this mommas heart because I know each stage of their life "won't be like this for long"

The song that makes me think of Ben and I today is....Blake Shelton's 'God Gave Me You'

I am SO THANKFUL that God gave me Ben Bramlett as my husband, but I am even more thankful that He gave me Ben way back in High School as my boy "best friend" :)
I truly would be LOST without this man!!
I love him with every fiber of my being!!

The song that I think describes me in my everyday life as a wife, mother, daughter, sister, friend could only be Martina McBride's 'Blessed'

I truly am blessed for everything that God has provided for me and my family!

I can't wait to read about your mixed tape!!

Happy Tuesday Friends!

xoxo, Heather
