Monthly Goals | January 2024

Hey Y'all! Happy Friday! I can't believe we are almost finished with the first week of 2024. Like what the heck? Where does time go?? I am sharing my goals for....

J A N U A R Y. . .

Personal:

1. Track Honestly. I am back on WW and my plan this month is to track and to track honestly. Even if that means that I go negative weeklies.

2. Celebrate 44 Years. I can't believe I am turning 44 this month. I sure hope I am spending the day at the spa again.

3. Clean Out/Organize List. AKA Home Improvement List. Check off 5-8 items off the list. I have compiled a master list of things that need to be updated/fixed, cleaned, cleaned out, and organized throughout the house. I hope to get several items checked off the list this month.

4. Delete Pictures from my Phone. My phone currently has 13,821 photos on it. That is insane and ridiculous. I hope to get it down to 13,500 pictures by the end of the month.

5. Sea Island with Ben. Ben is playing in 2 golf tournaments this month and I am tagging along! I am so excited! It also includes a spa day :)

6. Winterfest with Ben. His company doesn't have a Christmas party because the season is already crazy so they wait until January/February to have a Winterfest. It's so much fun.

Family:

1. Ian. Get back to college and start spring semester.

2. Ella. Start spring semester and get back into a routine.

3. Celebrate Grammy's Birthday. Colleen turns 70 this month.

4. Celebrate Duke's Birthday. Our sweet Duke will be 11 this month.

My Glittery Heart:

1. Celebrate 8 Years. I can't believe I am celebrating 8 years of this little space. I still remember when it was just a dream.

2. Share Favorite Workout Items. I have several items that I love and I hope to share with y'all.

3. Share A Day in the Life. Sometimes I feel like I will bore y'all to death with a day in the life post but they are some of my favorite to read so I am going to share just the ordinary me.

4. Share Favorite Bible Recap Items. I mentioned before that I read the Bible back in 2020 and I plan to follow the same plan this year so I hope to share some of my favorite bible studying items.

Oh My Glitter:

1. Start Listing Items that I Already Have Made. I have a few tubs of items that I have already made and I want to get those listed in my shop and run a sale before I focus on making and adding new items to the shop.

I have high hopes for this month! A mix of fun and productivity.

Let's see how I did in December.

Personal:

✔1.  Christmas Shop: I have a good bit purchased already but I need to finish up before all the Christmas festivities.

✔2. Host Annual Wine Tasting/Ornament Exchange: It is one of my FAVORITE evenings of the whole year.

✔3. Enjoy the Christmas Season: We have several Christmas' planned and even hosting a couple. It's the best time of the year.  Since I am the one that plans everything from what we are taking food wise, make said food item,  and what gifts need to make it with us, sometimes it can get a little hectic and overwhelming.

✔4. Mail Christmas Cards: I love how our family pictures turned out this year and I can't wait to add them to our cards.

✔5. Update Gallery Wall: I love my gallery wall and looking at the different ages and stages of my family.

✔6. Advent Class: Celebration of Advent at The Oasis. It's a 4 week series and I am excited to participate in the classes.

Family:

✔1. Watch our Dawgs: We love our Bulldawgs and will always watch them. (They lost to Alabama this past Saturday and it was rough in our house) So now we will watch them on December 30th in the Orange Bowl.

✔2. Celebrate All The Christmas': It's the most wonderful time of year and all the celebrations are so much fun!

✔3. Christmas Lights: I hope we can sneak in a night to enjoy all the lights. We have tossed around the idea of driving down to Calloway to see the lights there, Lake Lanier, Botanical Gardens again, or just riding around and looking at local lights.

✔4. Celebrate Ian's 19th Birthday: This will be the first year that Ian won't be home for his birthday but we hope to celebrate him.

✔5. Brunch with Santa: We love this event at Legend's.

My Glittery Heart:

✔1. Share Christmas Home Tour: It's my favorite time of the year and I can't wait to share our home again with y'all.

✔2. Share Bar Carts: This month I hope to share the Christmas and NYE bar carts.

Oh My Glitter:

✔1. Attend 2 Vendors Events: I'm excited to be apart of these events.

I completed all my goals this month. 💪
